25 years ago my fellow Lazlo Bane brothers, Timothy Bright, Bobby Burke, and Christopher Link, shot this video which made the top 10 of the year on MTV2. Colin Hay’s amazing cameo still gives me chills to this day. Here it is in it’s newly restored glory. 😃👍🏻

I LOVE how this starts out so just sort of... ho hum, and then builds and builds and the way the guitar bridge creates such tension and then Colin comes in and...wow! I just can't describe how it feels to me. I have to come back and watch and listen every so often. Masterpiece.

I hadn't heard this version til this morning. THANKS! I've listened to it 3 times now and when the song breaks to the solos, it was groovin'. Well, Dr. Cox, here’s the story ;-) This version of Overkill was on our first album which I made after playing drums for Colin in the early 90’s. Then, in 2000, Zach heard our 2nd album and thought I’m No Superman would be a great theme song for his new pilot, Scrubs. Then I introduced Zach to Colin and he put him in a couple episodes. Thank you, Zach Braff!😃👍🏻
