Funny when we were in DV when I awoke it was 22 degrees also. The water was frozen and making coffee was a chore.

Hey guys! Nice adventure! No fires in undeveloped sites in Death Valley!! Please research before you trek so we can keep these places open for everyone! Just because someone built a ring and had a fire doesn't make it right!

Wow! We didn't make it past teakettle junction (coming from Ubehebe Crater-- opposite direction). Next time we plan to go this route. Thanks for filming it and thanks for showing detail of the teakettles. It looks like they took ours down from 2 years ago.

Steel Pass has a few rock ledges, they are the ones show in the video. Depending on the driver skill they really aren’t too bad. Thanks for watching and be sure to check out our other adventure videos!

Lippincott Pass scares me
@RogueOverland3 жыл бұрын
It’s not too bad. There are a couple washed out sections that that test your nerves a bit.

We did Steele Pass in 2 stock ZR2s, no problem but it is a long rough road.

Terrific video. Very nice editing. It's good to see a Frontier in the mix - I drive one also. Could you tell me a little about the how the Frontier's is outfitted?
@RogueOverland6 жыл бұрын
We will be releasing walk around videos of the rigs in the future. For now check out www.nissteclifts.com and they can help you out, tell them you are interested in the build of the Grooter's frontier that rolls with Rogue Overland and they will take care of you. Thanks for watching!

How did you find the technicality of Steel Pass vs Lippincott? I've done Lippincott in my Ranger and plan to tackle Steel in the near future.

Steel pass is harder but you should be able to get through in a Ford Ranger.

Maybe this question has already been asked, but what is that cool metal pop-up camper you're running on the red Tacoma?
@RogueOverland6 жыл бұрын
It’s called a habitat made by AT overland available from Goose Gear
@andreasp.schultz3506 жыл бұрын
Yes, I recognize it now. Thanks. How does that tent do in high-wind situations? Does it flop around and make a racket? (I don't do earplugs when I camp, so big noise is always a big problem.)

Nice video! Thanks for sharing. What do you think of a Tundra and a full size GMC getting through Steel pass?
@RogueOverland3 жыл бұрын
Driver is the biggest variable of course. That being said, a modified truck shouldn’t have a problem. A stock truck may have to stack some rocks. Thanks for watching!

I don't think my crewcab F250 would fit too well on some of those trails lol.

My 4-dr F350 shortbed did fine on Steele Pass. Except the running boards. Took them off and kept going
@karlschwaber70063 жыл бұрын
@@jerroldkazynski5480 I am not surprised you lost your running boards. I dragged my sliders once but you also got some free pinstriping on your truck.

Awesome! I need to get out there and explore these places. Will my stock vehicle make these trails?
@RogueOverland6 жыл бұрын
That's a tough question because driver skill plays a large part. That being said a stock 4x4 should be able to make most of the trails we did minus Steel Pass and Butte Valley road.
