Actually, at the end of the Cassiar, turn right to Watson Lake and the signpost forest and pretty good shopping for grocery, liquor and fuel. We usually leave the island by ferry to Prince Rupert, then go up the Cassiar. I love Carcross, the desert, and history. Beautiful view of the Bennet Lake only 2 cruise ships in Skagway!! Flying gets you to much more than a road, trail or river. We have stayed at Kluane numerous times. you want Grizzly, go to the Khutzamateen. Glad to see you know your limits, as a former professional ski patroller and former Search and Rescue tech, I have many unfortunates who did know their limits. Stay safe.

We found that grocery store on the way down! We were considering the ferry, but it was all booked by the time we had a timeline figured out. Next time! We’d love to get out in a plane, seems like there are many more adventures to be had. Cheers!

Hey guys. Id really appreciate a true honest opinion on how you feel the FUSO choice is turning out. Ive been overlanding for years in my Land Rover, but really have been a bit obsessed with building an adventure vehicle. The fuso is a perfect size, but my worries is how under powered it is. Anyway, a good review on how travel has been, comfort wise while driving, would be awesome. Thanks. ❤❤

Hey! We actually just sold the Fuso! We LOVED the space and especially loved the camper on the back. But it was a bit underpowered, and mostly, it was BIG and expensive! Our plan is to drive to Mexico and beyond, so decided to downsize after a year and a half in the Fuso to but some coin back in our pockets for travel.
