My dog and i just finished 3 years and 3 months of van life traveling all over the US. We did 24 States. We are resting in bricks and mortar for a few years and then back on the road. Florida is home for now. But loved Arizona and New Mexico the best. Keep the videos coming. And safe travels.

Just a hint for you. When you cut up onions the fumes are attracted to moisture that is why it affects your eyes. I usually set a container of water beside where i am cutting up onions and then no more tears 😊. Love watching you guys. Always a special treat to my Sunday afternoons. God bless you all.

It’s been definitely colder in Yuma and the surrounding area this year. I grew up in the foothills out of town and enjoyed many evenings sitting outside with my parents tooling at the mountains and stars! We were camping out at Martinez Lake recently and looking forward to your next chapter of travel!Another wonderful video. 🙌👍

Hats off for the beautiful imagery! Love your videos because you show so much beauty. I am fortunate when I was in my 20s I wanted to travel but refused to pay for air fare which i thought was a rip off! I ended up working in technology and the companies paid for lol my first class travel because we were making so much money. I got to travel all over the US and Canada! Loved Canada and its wonderful people! I did all the traveling I ever want to do even Europe and the wonderful warm islands. I am really a home body but was glad I took advantage of the first class travel. I got to stay in the Arizona desert many times it is so beautiful especially during the blooming season. I could not believe the vivid colors I saw unlike anything I had seen before. Also when I travelled to British Columbia I got to visit the flower market that is set up to mass ship flowers to the USA. So amazing the colors. What a real treat. And also the produce from the rich soil in that area of Canada was a treat. Stayed at a bed and breakfast where she fixed fresh meals every day and had fresh cut flowers every day! I was in heaven!

Looks nice and warm in AZ. Wish I was there instead of here in Tulsa it's 4 here at the moment with a feels like -12 and snowing. Carol you have a good eye for catching those Bighorn sheep. Years ago in that same area my older brother said he'd never seen one. He lived in the state. One of the good memories I hadn't thought of in 30 years until today. I said to him turn around and at your 6 o'clock. 2 rams were fighting for one of the spectating females. He said not everyone sees them they are like ghost. I enjoyed todays video and especially your cooking.

It sure is! Because we are travelling we use whatever olive oil we can find in the locations we are in. When we are in Oregon however we go right to the growers, which tends to be the very best. 👍🏻

Yes, the truck is 600 amp hours of battery and solar so it powers pretty much everything. Here’s a recipe for the chimichurri. Chimichurri Sauce SERVES: 6 Ingredients * 100 milliliters water * 10 grams salt * (0.5 ounces / 1 tablespoon) * 10 grams dried oregano * (0.5 ounces / 1 tablespoon) = 25 grams fresh oregano (1 ounce / 2 tablespoons) * 2 bay leaves * 2 garlic cloves chopped * 1 tablespoon chili flakes * 1 bundle parsley * 50 milliliters red wine vinegar * (2 ounces / 2 tablespoons) * 200 milliliters olive oil * (7 ounces / 1 cup) Recipe 1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan. 2. Add the salt and stir until it dissolves. 3. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. 4. With a knife, smash the garlic and mince it very finely. 5. Transfer to a bowl. 6. Mince the parsley and add to the garlic, along with the oregano, the bay leaves and the chilli flakes. 7. Whisk in the red wine vinegar and then the olive oil. 8. Whisk in the salt water and mix. 9. For best results, prepare the chimichurri 1 day in advance so that the flavors have a chance to blend together.

Great video as always!! Dog boots are usually 1 size smaller for the back feet compared to the front feet. Most good companies sell in pairs not 4s or allow for front and back sizing if buying a set of 4.

Learning about the fauna, bird watching, star gazing, and learning about geology are other activities I enjoy while overloading. We’ve used such boots on our bird dogs too. The most durable are Lewis Dog Boots which are all rubber. Also the best way to secure the boots is with duct tape. Tape the leg where the top (actually a little below to a little above) of the where boot will lay. Then put the boot on and again tape over the boot where the top intersects the leg.
