This was a breathtaking overland adventure to Hells Canyon. We'll never forget this adventure and hope you enjoyed the video. Did you know Will lost 128GBs of footage from our main camera??? That's why there's very little outside shots of the rigs (except drone shots) until we get stuck in the snow. He just about cried when he found out, but the video turned out pretty great regardless. Copperfield Camp on the Snake is one of my all-time favorite campgrounds. Hells Canyon is where my heart and soul live forever. I have been there so many times, that tunnel is one of my favorite spots lol. When I take my last breath, that's where I want my ashes left, so I can forever see its beauty.

Man, what an absolutely epic trip. I can’t tell you enough how well done your videos are. From the beautiful drone shots to the outstanding voice overs. You’re by far one of the best and most under rated channels out there in the overlanding space. Just glad I can say I knew you when you were just starting. Great stuff! How'd the battery powered Thermacell function? I've wanted one forever but have been hesitant because of mixed reviews and needing to carry butane cartridges.
@Venture2Roam3 жыл бұрын
The Thermocells have worked well for us. We don’t have crazy bug conditions most of the places we go, so we haven’t put it to any extreme tests. The battery powered option has been just as good (so far) as the butane version, but it’s much smaller and easier to pack. Just remember to charge it, as we forgot this weekend and had more bugs than we would have liked!

Can a toyota corolla go up the road?
@Venture2Roam Жыл бұрын
A Corolla could probably make it, but I wouldn't do it..things that seem very easy in a lifted Jeep might be very different in something with less than 5 inches of ground clearance and street tires. You can drive on pavement to the Hells Canyon look out point though.

In 2018 I drove a 2016 Subaru Outback from Richland, Oregon to Huntington, Oregon along the Oregon side of the Snake river. It is bad road, steep and no guard rails. I do not recommend it. Where I was close to the snake river, it stank like a sewer. I was alone. It was foolish of me.

Nothing like watching city folk try to buy their way thru an adventure, not realizing that with that they've already lost the adventure. Money don't buy everything. True experience will get you much farther. Plus you will end up with a better work out. I understand you're travelling with your wife and youngans, but they've got to learn some time too. Unless you would prefer they also learn with the big $$$ method. "

City folk? I grew up on a dirt road in Weiser, Idaho. But who cares if I didn’t? Our adventures are our own, and you don’t get to have a say in how I raise my family. Be careful of criticizing others whom you do not know.
