There are some pretty nice slot canyons right to the SW of the abandoned Lincoln Ranch.

Awesome! Can you give us a little history on the place? What was raised on the ranch? Was it a crop or some live stock? When did the ranch first start? When was the ranch finally abandoned, and why? Why is it called the Lincoln ranch? Any other cool info would be really appreciated as well.

Another informative video with some great footage. I love that you guys are getting out to these remote places in AZ. Being from AZ, it's good to see some of the areas I haven't had the opportunity to make it to yet.

Thank you for joining us. We love getting remote. That's where all the best stuff is. 🤠 It took me a while to really decide what I wanted this channel to be at its core. I feel it kinda grew onto itself.

Planet Ranch and Lincoln Ranch grew Alfalfa hay and cotton, both were purchased along with all the water rights by the city of Scottsdale and why they were abandoned. More recently the properties were purchased by a mining operation Freeport-McMoRan Copper for $24 million dollars but the city of Scottsdale is disputing the transfer of water rights. Thought you would want to know.

Thank you. I always appreciate good information on the places I visit. I had a hard time finding anything concrete about Lincoln ranch, but it sounds like I wasn't too far off with my research. Do you happen to have any references for the info? Website or something? I'd really like to look more into it. Thank you again. I really do appreciate it.
