Hi Don, yes it defaults to actual temps in the fridge and only shows the desired setting when you touch the plus or minus button. Looks like we will get some more rain here in Yuma, it is getting to be about that time. Everyone else has left it seems like (at least most of our friends have)

$500 cooler seems crazy but if you compare it to a similar size Yeti, it's not a bad deal.

If ya need one, it is a pretty good item and worth the cost but it's just an anchor if you dont go off grid and need one.. LOL we really like it so far.

Thanks for the heads up, apparently Setpower has a $99 Easter discount so that is much better but once it expires the 16% should work. I had forgotten to type that in the description box, so really appreciate the help.
