I agree with your tips. I've found that I have just added more oil in general to my hair and it is doing so much better. I got to a point where I was really limiting the amount of products I added to my hair because I was frustrated with washing my hair and then immediately having to add so many products back in. I've gotten to the stage where there are a couple of key products that I use and my hair seems to be doing much better overall.

I noticed that too and I basically started following black girl curls rules and it seems to work extremely well with low porosity hair. No silicones waxes or oils in top product ingredients , gel wash and go, mousse twistout.. it's ideal and perfect

Excellent tip about being low porosity and caring for your ends. I have started using protein on the last 3-4 inches of hair every wash day to keep them healthy and from breaking off. The length of my hair doesn't need nearly as much protein.

Thank you so much! 😊 I still haven't figured out how to keep my hair straight and moisturized for a long period of time as my hair starts.to revert and. get dry only after a few days and then I end up trying other hairstyles to add more moisture. This is probably why I rarely flat iron my hair because I don't get to wear it straight for a long time! lol but.I hope to figure it out someday soon and make a video on it! ❤️

Love this video Ida! Your hair looks gorgeous. Loved the results and the blow dryer!The dryer looks really sleek and lightweight. Do you know if there is an option to buy a comb attachment for the dryer? On the ends no longer being low porosity this is a very good point! I've been protecting styling using 2 strand twists lately and it has forced me to focus on my ends more because they are more exposed. Applying extra moisture and sealant on the ends has made a huge difference in maintaining the health of my ends (plus regular trims). Thinking about it from a porosity perspective as well makes so much sense! I will definitely continue to do this. Looking forward to the next video!

Thank you so much love! 🤍💕 I don’t think they have a comb attachment, however, you can purchase affordable ones online or in beauty stores to attach on every blow dryer! And I agree with you, I’ve been wearing my hair in twists a lot more lately too and have been dusting the ends a bit more and realized that I need to make more of an effort to protect my ends as they were thinning faster than I would have liked even while in protective styles 😀

I think you’re right, my hair has been stuck at bra strap length for yearsss even with protective styling & low manipulation, my ends feel significantly different from the root/ mid shaft. Always thought it was damage and would just cut it off 😭 although, the curl pattern would be fully intact, and I hardly ever get split ends, it’s always significantly drier and products tend to basically evaporate out of it 😂 it’s become habitual for me to moisture my ends 1st & last, TWICE when doing my hair 😂 and even then they’re 1st to frizz & dry out. Next time I wash my hair, imma check if my ends absorb water faster than the rest. That’s the true test 😂 in need of a trim as we speak because the ends have thinned out again 😩

I have a question regarding the vibration of the blow dryer. Every blow dryer that I have bought over the counter, you know the 1499 to the $29 prices. They all have a tendency to have this weird vibration that makes my hand feel very weird. I haven't blowed by my hair and it may be almost 10 years. How does the vibration feel on the blow dryer of which you received.

Thank you! If your sitting under the hair dryer for a long period of time, it's a good idea to protect the ends a little more from the heat since your hair at the ends will not be as low porosity if your hair is longer so as a result, you won't need the heat to raise the cuticles ❤️
