My favourite reference in Skyward Sword is when you have played the song of the hero to unlock the Skyloft silent realm. In the background before you thrust your sword into the pedestal, the first few notes of the Ocarina of Time Hyrule Field theme play on loop.

My favorite thing to do in Twilight Princess is, transform into a wolf run around castle town scaring all the people. Best part the gaurds came up to doing absolutely nothing. If you hold down the A button or the B button to have Midna's hair up and let go the button, Link did a spin attack, the guards ran away. Sometimes they drop stuff.

The funny thing about that Orca training is that if you go into the menu before you start, you can switch Z targeting from switch, to hold. This means once Orca is targeted, you can let up on Z, but still be targeting him.

Skyward sword is the very first Zelda game even though it was released in 2011, and it was the start of the Zelda games because the Master sword was originally called the goddess sword before it was turned into the master sword.

It was never confirmed, but in BotW there's an NPC near the hot springs at the bottom of Death Mountain that shares a striking resemblance to the late Robin Williams. Robin was such a huge fan of the Zelda series that he named his daughter Zelda. That is my favourite secret, that I hope was intentional by the developers.

Satori is a Japanese Buddhist term for awakening, "comprehension; understanding". It is derived from the Japanese verb satoru. In the Zen Buddhist tradition, satori refers to a deep experience of kenshō, "seeing into one's true nature". Ken means "seeing," shō means "nature" or "essence". Wikipedia

The 3DS games are top down 2D games with 3D graphics. Nintendo even said when botw came out and again when Skyward Sword HD was announced, that Skyward Sword was the 3D game directly before botw The blupee’s appearing elsewhere wasn’t a lie, just a mistake :/
