In my opinion, what the anime failed to depict was the speed of Brain's sword strike. In the light novel, it was described as a lightning bolt, but in the anime, it just appeared to be a regular sword strike.😢

Omfg, as someone who has wat hed tons of YT vids over the years on Overlord and has seen each season nearly 20x each...your vids that I've watched so far about cut content are the most thorough!!!!!! I am completely floored with this breakdown. I feel like i watched a whole new episode with the information breakdown you did. If anyone had asked me I would have just naturally thought that most of the episode was straight and very little was cut from the novel. Unfortunately feel like they cut half the novel out with everything you are saying and adding context to. I suppose it is to be expected but they literally cut so much it changes the dynamics of the whole episode. Omitting facts, conversation and whole characters completely out really is a shame and should be unacceptable. It is always about the budget, then time constraints, but they really did butcher the light novel on this particular episode. I am feeling a little disappointed and let down over what they did as a whole. You truly did us all a solid breaking it all down and adding everything we missed back in. I know you said the video felt like it was running a little long but for those of us who had no clue I felt completely engrossed, time was the last thing on my mind. This was a outstanding video and very informative. Thank you for all that effort and time. I appreciate it and the video was outstanding.

I think the reason why brain said “that’s what you think that was” in the dub while referring to what shalltear said was just him lying. In the light novel, he said something similar to that because he was lying to shalltear and was trying not to reveal his cards. Or it could just be a dub mistake

Yeah that's true in 7:35 another point they dislike or at least have discourse with one another is because of their creators Touch Me and Ulbert. They always had disagreement back when guild meeting in Yggdrasil. We can see on season 2 ep 10 where Ainz reminisce of his guild member when Sebas disagree with Demi about how to treat Tsuare in Nazarick. The npc personality really take form of their creators.

Yeah that Recap movie , and that part when they travel inside cart , and Shaltear go berserk and sai about Dragonoid , thats was Boom for me when I saw it for 1st time

Overall your review or coverage is good, I would debate on some things like Shalltear was created with all the fetishes that Peroroncino could not show for himself, I would say that she has a thing for S&M and Necrophiliac. Also there was the whole part with them running though the forest to the bandit hideout and falling in traps because none of the vampire brides has any trap sense. The whole throwing the body was to stop the bandits from setting off the alarm, which did not work, and on top of that I think she was just having fun overall (part of her nature). I wish they would have added all of this in the Anime and not glossing over it or outright removing it like they did. There is so much to Overlord it is so deep and well written vs a lot of other stuff that is out there. I wish I knew why they did what they did in the Anime and skipping over the whole Holy Kingdom ark, and him stopping writing. I have my thoughts on this but have not facts to back them up.

Watching the overlord i always felt something a miss like the feeling that there's more content we just don't seeing it in the anime and i looked for the manga but when i found out that it's novel i kinda felt lazy and didn't pick it up and it's not that i don't reed books it's just that im lazy when it comes down to anime novels but tanks for covering all this and i look forward to your next video ❤

Demiurge and Sebas dont like each other not because of just the Karma difference. There are alot of other evil karma beings in Nazarick that Sebas doesnt hate. However, Sebas creator, Touch Me, and Demiurge's creator Ulbert did not get along and NPCs inherited traits and likeness of their creators.
