Great video! I seriously wish that Overlord suddenly becomes so successful after all these years that Maruyama just decides to continue the story after all haha. Cause god damn, there is probably enough stuff to cover just within the western part of the continent and a bit of the central part to reach the scope of a story that would rival something like One Piece. Sad to know that it'll likely come to an end relative soon-ish, but all the more hyped to see what's gonna happen until then. Hope you keep up the great work! Love seeing your videos man.

Well, I have been out of pocket for last couple weeks so I got to catch up on your videos and for me at least, it did not appear that you were inactive lol. Possibly because I was gone? Ohh well, love the video, seeing all the different maps and area where the different races / kingdoms are was definitely a worthwhile video. As a man who enjoys all things history related, including fictional worlds and the many different lands / people's that occupy this story this was an excellent video. It is possible, but I severely doubt it, mostly because TGOALID also kills the air and not only the earth, making it impossible for any living (not undead) creature to breathe in it and not to die, for it essentially poisons the air

I have a theory about the girl in the city out in the sea (now I have no idea if this already exists or is a popular theory but it probably is) and that is I believe she's actually a player perhaps from a different time from Aiz and she has some sort of immortality or longevity to her through some ability she could have or through her characters race and she's just decided to not interfere with the world past what she may have already done in the past because she see's no point in ruling everything since she'll live so long and she also knows it's unlikely she'll be defeated if she's perhaps a combat based lvl 100 player Also I find it really interesting how little humans are encountered from the west going to the center of the continent and with the humans in the center looking down on the west I wonder if their technology or magic is far more advanced in some way and if anyone from the west has ever safely visited a kingdom there. Like there's gotta be more to why they don't interact with each other just then an unlikiness and a dangerous travel route Finally just wanted to say I love how much more new content you can create using already talked about subjects on your channel kiba if you can break anything else down in more detail I'd love it

Just a question I have, was the reason Ainz was sent to the new world because he was inhabiting Nazarick? It seems like the common thing between him and the 8 Greed Kings and probably also the 6 Great Gods too. I have not read the LN so I don't know exactly why. Also, is it possible that Ainz actually is intelligent but doesn't realize it? Like how the NPC's suddenly have high intelligence because of their high stats in-game and was translated to a realistic thing in the New World. Even their background settings. Just like how Ainz just instinctively knows all his spells and their cast time and how much mana it requires. Love your videos btw. Hope all the stuff that was going on is all sorted and alright now.

A very powerful and greedy dragon discovered about that game world and knew that the world would end, so he and some friends prepared a huge wild magic to transfer all "world items" to them. Problem is, that world was virtual so the magic distorted, instead of bringing all the itens instantly, it's bringing them one by one with the avatar that's holding them, every 200 years. Nazarick had world items embed in it, to the point the entire structure got teleported. If Ainz were out of Nazarick at the time, he would be teleported first and alone (that red ball in his chest is a world item) and would appear next to Evil Eye, in a place filled with zombies, the structure Nazarick would appear 200 years later.

It's implied the father of PDL the Dragon Emperor, was trying to summon World Items from Yggdrasil into the New World to acquire more power and ended up also summoning Players, NPCs, and Guild Bases by accident.

(2017 interview) Before that and the 9th novels release, he said he planned to finish it in around 9 more books, around the 18th novel (july 2015 Manga special interview) The ending remained slated around the 18th novel He wrote the bonus novel before volume 14 (+1 novel) On twitter he was asked about his thoughts of the bonus novel- the one meant to be incredibly exclusive- being spread (and also sold), saying that he lost motivation, and would cut the novel count by 1. Vol 14 afterword - "Only three more to go" Volume 15 was slated to be a single release, but got split, and he said he would try to end it at the 18th again. Alongside the movie release, he wrote a two-part side story that was over 200 pages long- nearly ⅔ of a novel. Including just the side stories and drama cds, he's clearly done well over 20 volumes worth of content

Well the map is probably inspired from the Middle East, since the top half is the connection to Anatolia, the Roble Holy Kingdom have that Sinai triangle between Egypt and Palestine, the Katze Plain as Mesopotamia/Iraq, the Persian Gulf as you mention except the Strait of Hormuz is connected, the Eight Greed Kings capital likely overlap with Mecca since both have similar legend of unending water sources, Draconic Kingdom and Minotaur is in Iran/Persia which also connected to Central Asia with yet another overlap of Centaur to Turkic or Mongols people. I'd say it's a sound assumption, just like how the Westeros is basically the British Isle.
