8:05 that bit of lore sharing helps flesh out Overlord, Momon will see the sword they talked about much later. Demiurge was created by Uhlbert who enjoyed playing the villain so he designed Demiurge to be an evil looking and evil acting NPC.

Demiurge, like almost all the denizens of the great tomb of Nazarick, are evil. They told us back in the first few episodes their goal was to subjugate the world and present it to their lord, Ainz. That being said, never doubt their loyalty to Ainz, it’s beyond even fanaticism. The books are really good.

To answer your question as to who would win, in the novel, Khajiit, while he didn't say it out loud, only gave himself a 30% chance of winning against Clementine and that included all of his summons which he had about a 150 or so at that point

Well in this chapter there are not too many things to say, however, I will try to clarify some details that perhaps were not clear. (NOTE: my contradiction begins) The NPCs in the tomb don't know that they were characters from a video game. From their point of view, the Guild members were their gods who created them and the other "players" that sometimes came were "enemy gods" that they sometimes had to fight. Also, since teleportation was used a lot in Nazarick, the guild members didn't really interact much with the NPCs, but they remember some things they heard when their creators casually passed by and interpret it all as the divine will of their creators, leading to many amusing confusions. Demiurge asked Mare in chapter 2 about her clothing. In Japan, the Gap Moe or "contradiction of appearance and behavior" is very popular and the creator of the twins was basically making a joke by making them both wear reverse outfits. It could also be that she had a fetish for cross-dressing boys, considering her brother was incredibly perverted. But that is why now everyone believes that "by divine decree" children born in Nazarick must reverse the type of clothing they have. If Ainz does nothing, they may soon have a "funny fashion nation" on the horizon. Looking at the battle and what Ainz finds out, we can see that there is a type of magic in the world that is similar to the one in the Ygdrassil game, the so-called "Level Magic" or "Tier Magic". But in this world, there are exclusive powers that Ainz does not have and that are actually originating from this New World. Over time one deduces that "Tier Magic" came at some point in the past, long before Ainz came along and it became more popular than the original magic. The powers of this New World would be the following: First, the Martial Arts, which are gained by genetic disposition and later developed with the proper training. If you don't have the potential for Martial Arts, it doesn't matter how much you train, because you will never get stronger than someone who was born to be good at it. Then there are Talents, which are basically random boons and can either be useful or useless. For example, it is said that there is a person who was born with the ability to know the exact temperature of water, but naturally this Talent is not very useful in combat. Instead, a talent to be “Immune to Poisons” would be much more highly valued. Finally, there is a third type of natural magic in the New World, but for now I won't talk about it to avoid spoiling. However, the Crown of Wisdom that Clementine stole is an item created from this third magic. When Ainz fights with his armor he cannot use magic. But being a Level 100 player, his physical strength is far superior to that of a human. This despite the fact that his character is a Lich, who are always physically weak. Fortunately, his opponents this time were pretty stupid ogres, who only know how to attack forward. Narberal's lightning (Nabe) is a simple 3rd Tier magic, so that reveals again the terrible weakness of the beings of the New World compared to Ainz and his gang. During dinner, the conversation introduces us to another clue about the history of this new world: 200 years ago, there was a group of extremely powerful individuals called "The 13 Heroes" who went down in history by defeating a terrible group of monsters known as the "Demon Gods" who plunged the world into chaos. Many were considered authentic demigods, but due to the time that has passed the details are not very clear and they only tell us about one of them, the Dark Knight who fought using 4 magic swords, one of which is currently in the hands of a powerful female Adventurer of Adamantite Rank in the Kingdom, while the whereabouts of the other 3 are unknown. (At this point I realized that I was writing too much, but I still didn't want to stop. ¡How hypocritical of me!) The existence of the sword proves that the 13 Heroes existed and it is theorized that one or more of them were actually Ygdrassil Players like Ainz. However, it is most likely that they were not level 100 players, but a level closer to 50 or 60, because in their legend they always seem to be on a par with other creatures that are strong in the New World, but that for Ainz or level 100 NPCs would be easy to beat. Believe it or not all this is not a spoiler. In the Anime any reference to the 13 heroes is completely ignored (except in a later episode) until at least the fourth season. Although the novel itself is not that it gives us more than bits of information. The way Ainz gets angry at Ninya's comment reveals to us that in his original world he was very lonely and didn't have any kind of family or friends outside of the Ygdrassil game. That's why the pain of being abandoned by his friends is abnormally great and the adventurers are confused believing that his former comrades have passed away. An interesting detail is that the adventurer Ninya (the talented magician) had an older sister who was kidnapped by a corrupt nobleman. He naturally has the goal of getting her back, but first he needs to get stronger and gain influence. The comment that the adventurers make about Ainz's power reveals a lot about the level of the people of the New World. One of the strongest humans is Gazef Stronnof, but according to the adventurers Ainz has superior physical strength, although we know that he realy is a magician and that implies that he is physically weak. Now, it's true that Gazef didn't have all the enchanted equipment with him that would normally allow him to get the most out of him, but he can still be used as a reference. If we use math from the Dungeons & Dragons board game, which is the source of inspiration for much of the Overlord lore, we can deduce that Gazef will be somewhere between Level 29 and 30 based on Ygdrassil Game logic. So that means… that most characters in the New World couldn't hurt Ainz even if he stood by doing nothing because of his passive ability to “ignore any physical hit from an attacker below level 60”. By the same rule we deduce that the adventurers now accompanying Ainz will be between level 9 and 12, which is the average rank of any skilled combatant in the New World. Although, thanks to their experience and teamwork, they would obviously have the advantage over an opponent like, for example, young Nfirea, who is not skilled in combat but must have a similar level for being a magician. Similarly, an Adamantite Adventurer could be between level 27 and 29, but would still have a chance against Gazef Stronoff depending on equipment and circumstances. (At this point I realized that I was showing off, but for some reason I wanted to continue) Clementine is a warrior who can use martial arts, but not magic. However, she knows a lot of pretty cool tricks. The weapons she uses are stilettos that have been enchanted with different magics and she can activate them as soon as they make contact with her victim. We saw the demonstration of one of them when she pierced the escaping adventurer, who was imbued with hypnosis magic. In the end, Khajiit (the bald wizard) mentions that Clementine is a human who reached a level of strength known as the "Realm of Heroes" that surpasses humanity and is above people like Gazef. We also know that there is a squad of the Theocracy, the Black Scripture, that has individuals of this “Heroic Level” and that they are surely now hunting Clementine for being a traitor. One detail that I should have mentioned earlier is that, in his original world, Ainz was a clerical salary worker in a somewhat exploitative company. This has been firmly engraved in his personality and that is why he often uses terms like “superior” instead of “masters” or talks about implementing “salaries” or “staff meetings”. That is why he often cannot understand things that people from that New World tell her, such as "the honor of warriors" or the "dignity of the aristocracy" because he judges almost everything according to the parameters of a company. Sometimes this has its good side, because the tricks he learned as a salesman can help him appear friendly among adventurers, like when he convinced the guild receptionist to let her choose the quest, because he couldn't read the content of the ads. One of the biggest discomforts for Ainz is that his servants are so loyal that they consider it their greatest happiness to work 24 hours a day for him using items that make them immune to hunger, fatigue, or sleep. That is why Ainz tries to introduce the concept of vacations, working hours, wages and rest hours; however, this is seen as a punishment by the NPCs rather than a reward. So far Ainz has no clear idea how he can implement such policies in Nazarick. Sorry, I started this comment saying that there wasn't much to say about this chapter. I wouldn't call Ainz faction the bad guys, but I wouldn't call any other big faction we will meet as good guys either. Every big faction works with a different set of morals, spinning their wheels in the background. Nothing happens just to let it happen.

@@felix2662 I get the concept of following the seemingly "evil guy", but nothing happening is unreasonnable. I can't remember anyone doing something just to be evil, or brutal. Sure, they do terrible stuff, but not just for the sake of doing it. The denizens of Nazarick view every lifeform outside of the great tomb as we see animals (Momonga/Ainz beeing the only exception). From the outside he looks like evil incarnate, but we see more than that.

I think I already wrote this under your reaction to the openings and endings of Overlord, but Albedo is not the most twisted character in anime. I don't know how it will be in the movie, because I haven't seen it yet, but by the end of the 4th season of the anime, Albedo is in 2nd place in the ranking of the most obsessed characters, the leader will still appear.
