Loved this, we live on the Borders near Yetholm, on the Northumberland side. Definitely fancy a stay here. Thank you. 🎉👀👻

Thank you. Appreciate the nice comments. I often go up to your neck of the woods. If there is anywhere you recommend for me to see and stay then please let me know. You should definitely visit the grotto! It’s very quirky as well as mysterious!

That's a hard pass for me. I avoid anywhere that is potentially haunted (which is probably ironic for a funeral director to say). I've not had any paranormal experiences at work but, I have in a couple in other places. I prefer not to mess with that sort of thing but, I enjoyed watching this. :)

Yeh I’m definitely not a ghost hunter! I like telling the story more of the history but if that place includes ghost stories then I’ll talk about it. Would never call out a spirit though. I’d be pretty useless at that. 😂

So I'm from the area grew up playing on Marsden beach and The Grotto always has had that haunted reputation. My late dad used to be the lift attendant there back in the day . The landlords previously always said that they leave a pint on the end of the bar for the spirits....lol.....a unique location and stunning coastline with fabulous beaches sandy and pebble all the way along the coast down to the Tyne ... about 30 minutes drive from Newcastle upon Tyne.
