I hardly watch many other tubers but I enjoy your work Andy. The only way you will really increase your patrons to make it a good full-time living is to paywall half or more of your clips. Views and subs will go down but you will start to cover all your costs and really get paid for the big hours of work you are putting in. Clearly, you put a lot of work into this one.
@Andysfishing
@Andysfishing 5 жыл бұрын
I have considered that idea. And yes, I’ve seen it work for others. I appreciate your suggestion Clay, but for now I’ll continue here.

Hey Andy! I've been watching your videos for a year or so, always excited to see a new one out! I just got to the part where you're using the rock as a pestle and mortar, that was very clever indeed. I'd like to recommend next time that you rinse the rock, it may save you a tooth problem. A bit of grit out in the bush is always good, but not when you bust a tooth!

Around 46:00 He shows the lifestraw. Maybe that's what he meant when he responded to you. Obviously that's not a filter for anyone that doesn't have constant access to water. I'd recommend the MSR MiniWorks Microfilter. It was enough for 10 people for 2 weeks at the Boundary Waters and should last much longer than that.

Hi Andy ,Great vid Mate again , nice break from all the snow ones . Wish you would organise your travel time so you aren’t walking in the dark when all the snakes are out looking for someone to bite ! That bladey type tussock on the waters edge where you did your cook up is called Matt Rush it’s a tasty nutritious survival food ,would have been lovely with your rice .Just pull a small tuft off the outside of it and eat the white core on the bottom , cooked or raw , it grows on a lot of the east coast of Australia .It has a dryish flower stalk on it .All the best from Cooktown .

Another thing you might like to try with your curry paste is to use a little bit of the oil you had in the plastic bottle, which acts as a glue for the ingredients and when you massage it into the fish helps it stick (though you didn't have a problem with that) and also gives a nice golden crispyness to the skin.

Great idea, it’ll probably add a little more moistness.
