We always said there are dog men in the woods in Scotland. When we walk around the lochs and other trails I would not want to be there at night. The forests are beautiful but so dense. I prefer the big tent, I think getting reactions when you’re together is so much better. I f do I think there may be animals that we have not come across yet. You just never know what’s out there!

Everything you’re saying goes for Sasquatch as well. I have had Sasquatchs follow me home. At this time I have 2 good sized snapped branches right outside my bedroom window. Both were broke when my window was open at close to or at 2am and were so loud!! I was awake both times!! When they follow you home they usually do something that would make sense to nobody but you. They imitate owls a lot!!

If it was somewhere more remote like Scotland, yeah sure i'd somewhat believe. But on this occasion, A 8-12 foot dogman that's managed to stay mostly hidden in woodland that's probably no more than 5 miles to the nearest village. That's got to be on par with bigfoot for hide and seek champion of the world

If you think of the weather we've had in the last year/couple of years, it was so hot last summer and it didn't rain for quite a few weeks so the ground was rock hard then when it did rain it literally threw it down for days and in a lot of places the water just ran off to lower ground so then there were floods, some places had really strong wind, the poor trees wouldn't have stood much of a chance!

There is a Podcast here in the USA about the Dog Man. There are many reports of the Dog Man throughout many States here. Some folks had hesitated reporting their Dog Man/ Sasquatch encounters because of being labeled a Nutter. My honest opinion, I believe it ! Be safe out there.

Beautiful place - very well-built buildings. Some history: In 1900 12 farms, their fields and stone walls occupied the steep slopes behind Brinscall, in, or on the edge of what we call today "The Pine Woods" or "Heather Lea woods" . There was also two mansions, Blackhurst and Heather Lea, the latter giving the woods one of its names of today. You can also still find one of the cellars to the mansions and remains of what was likely to have been a mill near the stream/river

I can tell you soooo much about Dogmen and werewolves, I’ve been researching for the past 5 years . They are actually 2 different types , Dogman grows to about 10ft , they can run upto 70 miles per hour , they have long snouts , ears that stand up and a tail , they also have the backwards dog legs . Werewolves have a small snout , ears on side of head and no tail , they also have human legs and an talk . Dogman uses telepathy, they also have a rotten smell like death , blood , piss and shit , if they are around everything will be silent and you will feel scared for no reason . They climb trees and ambush from above , young pups stay in trees too , they also follow you and track you , torment you for years . And yes they do follow you home . If one is around they will be more so beware .

I've had 3 sightings in and around a remote area of forest near where I live. The first time I saw it I had my German Shepherd with me, I put her lead on as I thought it was another dog off the lead.....my dog is a pyscho and very protective of me. This other doglike creature was quite a bit away an I was expecting to see its owner but no one was there. As I got closer it stopped and my dog was barking n ready to go after it but the other creature just stared, completely unfazed. I could see it was much larger than my German Shepherd and had a longer body and was black. It only stopped a few seconds and then it disappeared into the forest. I saw it again in and around the same place a further twice. This forest was supposed to have been used by the Druids way back and sacrifices were said to have been made in it.

I would love to see you go and stay one night in Clapham Woods [Sussex]. We have been fascinated by this eerie wood since the early 90s and went there several times. Each time something weird happened. From sulphur smells to weird feelings, perfectly round dips in the forest floor and black blobs sitting on the footpath in the dark. Those woods have a weird history as well, with people going missing and strange black figures with glowing eyes being witnessed and UFO activities. It also gets very dark, far too soon in that forest. It was getting so dark that we almost couldn't find our way out on a bright summer's evening. I get shudders just thinking about it. Now if you want scary, this is it. It's scary during daytime, let alone night time.

trees in the middle of a woodland have less developed root systems than those on the edge - they rely on their neighbours for shelter. That's why we sometimes see lots of failures in the middle of a woodland with edge trees still standing after a storm.

Hey Dan, my name is Mark, and I'm 40 years of age, I'm a person that believes in werewolves because the stories have got to come from some sort of truth!!! Also I live in the United States of America.. I live in Florida, I'm not sure if you or your team are aware, but just this past November in Texas at a zoo, the zoo's security cameras captured a werewolf walking outside the fence, it was all over the news. And nobody investigated it and I have not heard any updates on that, there are alot of unexplainable things and haunted locations here in Florida.. I witnessed my mom being choked while she was asleep and that happened in front of me and there was nobody around her when I seen it happened, I couldn't move I was shocked and frozen still and trying to wrap my head around at what I witnessed. Any paranormal group or investigators want to contact me please feel free to do so

The Forest has become filled with water on the top soil due to local building. The concrete causes water to runoff in local forests which weakens the ground and cause certain non deep rooted trees to fall over. The noise that the tree made was the rubbing of two trees. Standing under that leaning tree is call a widow maker in the timber industry.....very dangerous.

I beleive, if you really want to prove urban legends to a pacific area it's always best to talk to the locals who have lived there for years and listen to their experiences rather than to people who are interested in the subject who think they are experts in the field. I also beleive that most modern urban legends are mostly based upon generating tourism to an area.

You asked if we believed in dogmen. I not only believe but have had 2 face to face encounters with a huge black creature. For the last 3yrs I could hear it howling in the swampy woods at night. Then it came to my home. I thought it may have been drawn by my half Alaskan Malamute and half Wolf dog howling. She sounds and looks EXACTLY like a pure wolf. Luckily, I haven't heard or saw it since around last summer. So, yes, I'm a 100% believer. I live in Southern Illinois, USA btw. 🎶🐦🇺🇲
