To clarify about SLS on phones, the newer iPhones like the 13 and 14 and even a few android phones do have lidar cameras that project the same infrared laser dots as the Kinect camera. So if you have a new iPhone, you also have a Kinect in your pocket. I think there is some confusion about SLS apps on phones because they will use whatever camera your phone has, and use an algorithm to map out figures with that camera. One example is an app called Ghost Tube SLS which can take advantage of the lidar on your phone or if your phone doesn't have lidar, it will try to map out figures using your normal camera, plus it can record video with it. There are other apps that can do this, but I would just research it and verify that it can use your phone's lidar. However I do think that the Kinect is higher resolution though, which will give you a little more accuracy but I prefer not to lug around a giant monitor and rig when I investigate lol.

I love the camping videos, whether it be ghostly or criptid! We used to live in Plymouth until about 7 years ago and we (me, partner, 3 kids) used to get a macdonalds on Saturdays, go to Darmoor, eat it in the car and have a walk about there, I'm sure, being Devon there are a few criptids on the moors, I think I've heard of a werewolf(?) and there is "The beast of Bodmin Moors", I'm guessing there may be more.
