Beautiful and clean looking…. But I’ve seen you show so many for cheaper that offer more amenities; I’m surprised the cost for everything you’ve spent (compared to other capsule hotels). I suppose being able to stand in your room is the perk.

It sound like drinkable Tap Water is unusual. Here in Germany Water is drinkable without the need of a Filter, except the water is "Hard" (many Minerals), then a Filter can made it softer. 13:04 has an Error in the german Translation, it say "Abendessen" (Dinner) instead of "Frühstück" (Breakfast).

Thank you so much for recommending joypolis!! (English subtitles says Joy Police hahahah I only knew the real name via another comment) that seems super attractive!!! And i have great faith in Japan’s motor-ride safety. Thank you. The Japanese-style dolphin show was also impeccable. Elegant and absolutely a feast for eyes. Yeah i know the loudness was bad for dolphins’ animal welfare, but i still can’t help to be absolutely mesmerised by the beautiful show.

I know not everyone realises the ethics of captive dolphin and whales but I would recommend the documentary blackfish for more information. I didn't realise until I saw it how unnatural and sad their lives are. Otherwise nice relaxing video as usual. I find it weird that capsule hotels go to all the effort of having luxury capsules that are like rooms but won't provide a lock. Is it a legality/tax thing that they would have to class it as a room if it locks and therefore pay more for a licence?
@englishatheart
@englishatheart 4 ай бұрын
Blackfish was propaganda with a lot of wrong information. I love orcas, they're my favorite dolphin, but if an animal is born in captivity, they are not safe in the wild. No animal should be taken out of the wild and forced into captivity UNLESS they are unable to survive in the wild, but if they are born in captivity, as long ss they're not being abused, they sadly are not safe to be released. Also, Japan slaughters dolphins and whales, so even those born in the wild aren't safe around Japan.
@NouvelleVoix
@NouvelleVoix 4 ай бұрын
If I remember correctly, they can't provide a lock. Capsule hotels get around a bunch of regulations, but if they give you a regular door that can lock it legally becomes a regular hotel room and they have to do a lot of extra things.

Like u say here in the US, NO MARINE ANIMAL SHOULD BE HELD CAPTIVE! THEY HAVE THE ENTIRE OCEAN TO SWIM, BUT GET HELD IN A SMALL POOL!? NO WAY!!
@englishatheart
@englishatheart 4 ай бұрын
If they are born in captivity, it's far crueler to release them. Look at what happened with Keiko, and he wasn't born in captivity. Not to mention the oceans are becoming more and more polluted, and they murder dolphins and whales in Japan and other places, so they're sadly safer in captivity. Do I think animals should be taken from the wild and forced into captivity? Hell no. I caught a lizard one time and was thinking of keeping it as a pet but felt too guilty to and released it. But if they can't survive without help or if they are born in captivity, they simply are not safe in the wild.
