did you carry all of your equipment in that one bag or is this multiple trips to the camp. I'm kind of curious if this entire system would fit in a standard issue Molly pack or is this something you would have to carry separately.

Hi Lilly :) Can I ask, when did you last put wood in the stove, and was there any coals burning in the morning, and what was the temperature roughly at night? (just a guess) and Iv'e enjoyed many of your videos for years now and thank you :)

I bought the UP-2 with insulated floor , two large cots , and stove. Even came with smoke detector and batteries. I ordered mine via email conversations straight from Siberia. Shipping and all the items came to $1500. , which I think is a deal !! My space is 11.5 ' in diameter which gives me tons of space for two people. Love this tent.

I'm glad you started using your new tent. I hope that it will give you a lot of pleasant emotions and allow you to enjoy the beautiful nature in any cold weather. A couple of notes ... Removable metal screens on the side walls of the stove serve not only to protect the glass during transportation. They have other important functions. Firstly, the walls of the fired oven are very hot, and the protective screens will prevent you and your dog from getting burned on them. Second, when the screens are removed, the oven heats the tent heavily through infrared radiation. And when they are installed, there is some distance between the screen and the glass. The stove sucks in air from below, and it comes out from above. Thus, convection currents of hot air are formed, which heats the tent space like an oil heater. That is, you thus largely change the type of heating in accordance with your needs. The oven tent is designed in such a way that the higher you are from the floor, the higher the temperature. I noticed that you were sleeping on the floor. In not too severe frost, this is permissible, but if it is -30 or -40 degrees Celsius overboard, it is better to use a folding bed. You can buy any, or buy a bed produced by the same company "Bereg". In this case, you will sleep at a height of 30-40 cm from the floor, and you will be much warmer. Good luck to you! And greetings from Russia!

I think this can fit in an ebike trailer nicely to setup hunting camp then just go out for miles tracking and bringing the game in for a field dressing and meat harvest. Already thinking of so many uses it is a nice winter camp setup for sure. This would definitely be a great expedition.

.. Nice hot tent setup... in heavy snow and wind conditions , the extended flap material at the bottom can be covered with snow to help weight it down plus help prevent cold air flow from the bottom .. .. I must have missed something ,,, what holds up the tent structure when you remove he support pole ?? .. ... Amy is pure entertainment ,, easy to see how much joy she gives to you... I have never seen you smile so much ,, pets can be the best medicine .... ..... Stay Safe and God Bless .....

FYI, IF you are car camping etc, place a thick piece of soapstone on top of the stove & use a heat activated fan & will have more radiant heat. I also have a water tank attached which retains/radiates the heat. Wood can burn fast in these thin walled small stoves.

This looks awesome! Makes me want to gout right now!! Since it is a large tent and not really back-packing, I recommend getting a collapsible rake and a collapsible shovel for the kit to prep the floor of the forest for the pad. This will make it much nicer to your feet and even back if you lay on the ground. Can also prevent damage to the floor mat. I also use a cot with hoop legs, like the legs of your chair. This is not so much for comfort as for space because you can stow your gear under it and save the floor space for walking, food prep, etc.

The welding blanket for underneath the stove is only there in case you get sparks that pop out. I don't buy the overpriced ones for stoves, I buy just a standard welding blanket. It's made of the same material, and gives you as good if not better protection.

You don't need to split all the wood. It will burn slower and you will not have to feed the stove as often with bigger logs. Close the damper and let less air in the intake and get more heat from less wood.

Hi Lilly, just found this Video while searching for "Russian Bear Market Tent". A few questions: 1. Which Model Tent do you have? Sputnik 3 or Up2-Mini? 2. Why dont you use the small screw-in Plug which replaces the Umbrella Stick after you set up the Tent? The small Plug should also come with a Net that get attached to the Dome and offers place to dry socks etc or a convenient place to hang a Lantern. If you dont have that Plug maybe ask nicely and they send one. 3. Why didnt you grab their Water Heater for the Stove, 7L is nothing to sneeze at, especially in cold weather conditions

That dog is adorable. I usually season my pans with some type of vegetable oil, but I'd bet you could've done it with a small strip of that bacon. Makes it like teflon. Water rinse the pan after cooking, season it once more and it's good to go for the next meal. Everyone has their own way of doing it, though.
