Overnight RV Camping ON THE VEGAS STRIP!? - Sketchy Parking Lot Stay 👀

We found a spot to park our vintage camper van right on the Las Vegas strip! There's a sketchy RV park at the Circus Circus which is basically just a parking lot with hookups. It's super cheap and outdated, but you get to basically bring your home right to the middle of Vegas!

Been going to Vegas for over 20 years. The area around Circus Circus can be sketchy especially at night. I'm not surprised on the condition of the utilities though. Tacos El Gordo is great plus I'm so glad to see The Delightful Travellers

I've only been to the Strip location once, in 2019, and it was literally the worst restaurant food that I've ever had in my 47 years. It was very confusing, because I'd been to their Chula Vista, CA location before that.

I bought 2 yellow plastic egg containers from WallMart camping section to keep eggs. It's a game changer for sure. Enjoy Vegas! It would be helpful if the RV place had a shuttle. I'm sure ya'll enjoyed being with your friends.

Yes those really work well unless you buy jumbo eggs. Large fit well as do some extra large but not all. But they keep your eggs, even if some crack, contained and not dripping all over the place if you hit a bump or two.

Damn .... I wish I would have known you were headed to my town. I could have recommended a much better campground on the strip ( Oasis at blue diamond rd and Las Vegas Blvd) and then we could have taken you off strip and have you stretch Ruby's legs on a few trails

23 yrs ago, my wife and I picked up our new Lance truck camper in Vegas. We met my brother-in-law there at a dive hotel on the Strip and stayed the night in his hotel parking lot. Got to enjoy Vegas on the REALLY cheap. Back then, some hotels had mixed drinks for $1.50. My how things have changed! Enjoyed your video (first time viewer).

Sorry for screaming to try to get your attention while we were in the Cali freeway 😅 I saw Ruby then saw Clementine and I couldn't help but get so excited seeing you both !!! Thank you for smiling and waving back even though I probably scared you guys 😅❤ It truly made our day! We actually saw a different RV and red jeep attached to the RV an hour before we saw you guys. I joked to my husband at that time and said, "oh look it's the Endless Adventure!"

We stayed at the Circus Circus campground in the 80s when it was pretty new and nice. Circus circus was one of the 'in" spots back then!

That campground was a KOA when I stayed there (2007). Itcost $55/night then, was crowded, the showers were very dirty, but the electricity was welcome in the 104-degree heat.

I stayed at the Circus Circus RV park yearrrrrrssss ago - 1998 I believe. There weren't any fences or gates back then. LOL It was a blast!

My family and I were there in June of 2020 and our neighbor was playing super loud music early in the morning. He damaged our rv when he was gone in the morning, but I didn't noticed until we checked out the next day. My wife hated the whole experience, but my kids and I enjoyed it.

I stayed at Oasis, yes more expensive, but for a few nights its worth it. Took lyft to/from the strip, very easy and reasonable.

So cool! That is a rickety shore connection. recommend a surge protector/ ems plugged into shore power before your cable so you can monitor the grounds and polarity and if you get a nice enough ems it'll monitor output too. Your electronics and battery will thank you

note : on the over hang of the rear of your casmper install a pair of 4 or 6" roller wheels to save the bottoming out on the rear or learn to go over bumps on a 45 deg. angle,

Circus Circus RV park is about the same when I was there in the 80's a lot with my parent's RV. But there was a tram like momorail from the RV park to the Circus Circus casino. My parents and grandparents would give me and my sister a buckets full of quarters after gambling all night, for that huge arcade Circus Circus has, no video games were safe. Hey where is the pool at ?

To prevent eggs from messing my fridge, I crack them and store in a glass jar.. they stay separated in there, so when I am ready to use, pour out as much or as littlt that I need...

Circus RV Park is a parking lot. But i did feel safe with the constant patrol. There is a pool for rv guests only, which is nice. The only RV Park on the strip if that's what you want.

Have only just started the video, so I may comment again after watching, but I just wanted to say, I really love that white leather accent piece you guys installed in the middle of you on the ceiling! I know you weren't too sure or it, but it really brightens and opens up that area, especially with the curtain, it feels like it's drawing my eyes up and creating more height than is actually there. It's great! The old dark leather was good, but it did feel a little closed in when seeing it on camera, though I don't think it felt that way to you on the other end. Either way, it really looks great, and I hope you guys ended up liking it too!

Yes one of the camp ones that is in the camping section at Wally mart. It keeps the eggs firmly in place for minimal cost

I think their price has gone up, stayed there last spring and the price was around $45. But good location to walk to different areas of Vegas, and I enjoyed my 2 day stay, enjoy !

I was at that RV lot in early 2000s, for a couple of days. It was quite convenient and I liked all hook-ups. A better RV site was in Pahrump, which even included cable TV.

The other element you need to overcome is heat, Having a 12V AC that uses less than half the power of 110V is necessary when the temperature at night goes up to more than 85 degrees. Some of the newer camper vans with large battery bank can run the AC for more than 40 hours like the Truevan Vision X or the Storyteller Beast/ Stealth. The 110V AC is actually very noisy at night so you can upgrade it to 12V which runs much more quieter.

Check out Oasis RV, its next to the Silverton and has long term with loads of amenities. Never stayed there as we live here but visit when friends stay there. Its pretty cool

You have to see one of the shows while you're visiting Vegas, particularly Cirque de Soleil. There's also a musical fountain at the Bellaggio that you can watch for free. Just walking up and down the strip can be fun, just to see all of the faux architecture.
