Momma is going to make you pay for that little "theft" of sweezers. Every time she might use them she will smell snails and the seashore. Conch fritters are the best, got hooked on them in 1980 in St. Croix...then I was introduced to conch chowder. That is one heck of a meal, Captain...fresh from the sea. Full belly will make you sleep well. That night time coffee and a sweet tooth deal is hilarious. Great video, Cap. Stay safe. Mother Nature has her own agenda. Sleep well, Brother.

Hi Capt... this is a great video; nice variety! You were lucky you had no, no-see-ums on this trip. We have no-see-ums here in North Carolina (and other places we've been) and they can be horribly bad at times; very painful! I keep onboard, a bottle of 'Avon Skin-So-Soft', mixed 50/50 (or even 60/40) with rubbing alcohol. (60% rubbing alcohol; 40% Avon). It is the ONLY thing that works to stop them from landing on you, and prevents the biting. When at anchor with the hatches open I also have rubbed some on the screens to keep them out of the cabin. (No-see-ums will come right through window/ports/ hatch screens). It does NOT work for mosquitoes, but it completely stops the no-see-ums....

Every time I watch your videos and you get some weather - rain, wind, heat - it makes me not understand why you folks in Florida like center consoles so much. Your boat fishes as well if not better than those boats plus you have a way to get out of the weather when necessary, as well as sleeping and storage. Crooked or not, pilot houses are the way to go!

Nice job skipper explaining your electronics and how everything is run on your generator 👏! Im sure you have a top notch fire extinguisher just in case also a spare anchor ⚓️. I learned the hard way to key a spare anchor on board the last thing you want is to lose an anchor during a storm at sea 🌊. I dont mean to sound like an alarmist but a conceal carrying permit 🔫 might not be a bad idea when your out there alone island hopping considering the history of those islands 🤣. You said you called for a radio check on 16, if you did so with your antenna down, it severely limits your range. Vhf antennas need to be vertical for them to work properly.

Good video. Always seems worse at night when a squall comes through. Been anchored when a storm switched the wind direction, at midnight I was suddenly on a lee shore and it was blowing 15 to 20 knots. Very hairy experience.

Good morning, Captain, I've been watching your videos since you started. I have a question that is not the subject of this video, but I need to ask you anyway if its ok with you, did you set up your radar to give you the different colors when a storm approaches and goes away from you? I have a Fantom open array with a 4 foot antenna and I cannot get it to change colors based on distance from my Boat no matter what, Its always red whether far away or close to me. Boats on the water do change colors. Do you have the setting a certain way to do this? Please let me know if you can. Mike

Great video. Curious why your face is disguised by a mask? Why the mystery? I'd suggest you add 2500 watt inverters patched to house batteries & charging isolator patched to alternator. I hope that generator is thoroughly anchored to the boat. That's an odd place for a generator.
