Hey...Captain prop clear, it's good to watch you doing what you really enjoy, I've worked in Great Harbour Cay for a number of years as a career Police officer, and I never knew the surrounding cays were so beautiful, I've been to big Sturrup and Small Sturrup Cays before the name was changed to Coco Cay. I'm presently residing in Freeport, and I travel to West End right at the entrance of the Old Bahama Bay on the Rocks to fish. someday I hope we meet, and we can have a beer the drone footage of west end and the Old Bahama Bay Harbour was phenomenal I really do enjoy watching you do your thing, believe me for all the trips you've made to Bimini, West End, Grand Cay, Great Harbour and the other Island and Cays you're a Bahamian now...lol...lol you've come a long way, your youtube channel is awesome and very educational. Hello sir i always watch your videos, i run a tidewater 220 cc with a 200 hp yamaha 2.8L. It came factory installed at hole #2, propeller was 14 1/2 x 15. I raised the motor all the way up and new propeller 141/4 x 17 pitch, I went from 38 mph top speed to 43 mph to speed, also my miles per gallon increased, now i can do 4300 rpm , 33 mph at 4 gph. So I suggest you raise the motor all the way up and go with higher pitch propeller.

@@OutOnTheReef if the motor is as leveled as the old motor was to your haul, I would not raise it. I’m sure you just need a bigger propeller with more pitch. Check to see if there is a prop shop that will let you borrow a few propellers and try them out. If your new motor is the same length as the old motor, that’s the way it came from factory and that’s the way I would leave it. There are some good KZbin videos out there showing how to properly align your motor to the bottom of the haul. If you do end up, measuring it and raising it or changing props, it would be cool to see a video on that. Thank you.
