I was just in Rockport in July on vacation. We used to have a travel trailer down in a trailer park I think it was Shady Oaks on smokehouse road for almost 20 years we would go down there every other weekend from the time my younger son was born up until about 5 years ago. Travel trailers are scary to be in and I always worried about how we would get out of something like this would happen. I'm so sorry for this gentleman and his two animals such a tragic accident. I loved being in Rockport when it rains the rainbows out there are amazing and you could smell the Ocean Air. When the hurricane hit a few years back and just demolished a lot of stuff in Rockport , our trailer was in an area that flooded so we lost our trailer ,we never replaced it so we quit going down there and then I wound up getting divorced. After 5 years I went down there for a week with my older son and his girlfriend in July and we had so much fun. Brought back a lot of memories. Rest in peace to this gentleman and his two puppies.

I’m so sorry about the man and his two loyal dogs that perished in the fire. They most likely died by smoke inhalation first. It’s overwhelmingly for all involved. Not only will I say a prayer for the loss of life and the dogs but also for the firefighters, EMS and other 1st Responders who have to deal with the on scene incident. May they Rip😔🙏🕊

That was an absolutely beautiful rainbow! So heartbreaking to hear about that man and his dogs perishing in the fire last night. Very tragic. I always heard that rainbows appear when good folks "cross the rainbow bridge," and that one sure was bright and persistent. Felt like it was meant for him and his dogs. Around 0:35 there was a faint hint of a double rainbow on the left side of the screen. Noticed that on my large monitor, but not sure if you can pick up on that on your phone.

Thank you Jamie. I didn't notice the double rainbow. I'm colorblind and that rainbow was so faint that I'm surprised I even noticed it at all. Great catch. Such a shame about that man and his loyal pets. Lotta tragedy for such a small town.

I have been on edge about life and it's dangers recently since a KZbinr's dad died. Her name is Steph Pappas and her dad was in a lot of her videos, they were very close. He was hit head on by a suspected drunk driver. Their dog also went with him and died on impact too, his wife injured. I thought about that numerous times while traveling in Mexico this past week. Life can be so cruel and unpredictable. ☹️ Fire is so scary, I agree with you though and also hope this man didn't suffer too much and it was quick.
