Love your video scoot. 👍👍👍

Your delightful style remind me of Ian Wright. The interior of the train is better than I thought! But the speed is so limited to the railway infrastructure and some narrow trackbed. The music you chose in this video is a good balance.

That journey is world famous, but not in a luxurious way. It was a great way to rub shoulders with the local and see the beautiful scenery. Definitely only for the die-hard train traveller though!

I like old school trains. If you ever go to Sri Lanka you will find they still use 1800's signalling equipment. Vintage.

Great video many thanks. We are considering that journey (what haven't we considered during lockdown)! Can I ask how much your journey cost please? Best regs John
@PlanesTrainsEverything3 жыл бұрын
Hi and thanks for your question. I get many people asking about this, so if you visit my website at www.planestrainseverything.com/end-to-end.html you will see a complete breakdown of costs for each train.

@@PlanesTrainsEverything Wow fantastic - thanks so much for that. I've just tapped into your website and have seen the magnitude of your journey. I'm struggling hard to find entertaining stuff to watch during this lockdown and this seems to be a really rich seam. I retired last year with three priorities - travel, travel and travel. Things clearly haven't gone to plan so I have to live vicariously until we are free to roam again. Many thanks again.

Do you do all these trips by yourself?
@stevemurray78624 жыл бұрын
I am curious as to why you got in trouble for taking pictures of the train at the start of the video.
@PlanesTrainsEverything4 жыл бұрын
The locos tend to be at the very end of the platform, and security guards get nervous when you walk up that far. Exactly what I could do is another thing, but as long as you're quick, you can get away with a quick video or photo!

Did you travel second class?
@PlanesTrainsEverything4 жыл бұрын
Hi. Yes, it was second class. I went for a walk along the train, and saw nothing but second class compartments. I think if you really wanted first class, you need to buy the entire compartment for sole use, and third class is a seat.
