You have placed yourselves right into a cold air hole with digging that centre of snow out,, you don’t want to be inside one of those you want to be above that as the cold air sinks to the lowest point(fact) when we dig snow caves into a hillside we always dig a hole for the cold air to sink into. Great video tho MAV just thought I’d point that out to you buddy. 👍👍👌👌

Looks like something fell off of your sled at 8:23. Also, you are supposed to shovel the area first, set up the tent, and then pack the snow around the flaps on the outside of your tent. That would have made things a lot easier for you.

Shout out to Lee! I have a few questions. The tent you slept in was an ice fishing hut? Would have been easier to shovel and area flat, place the tarp down, and then pit the tent up? I seemed like the hodge lodge was a little uncomfortable. I know you have to bring a lot of stuff, but maybe you could have just added a small cook stove, kettle to boil water, and some good coffee cups? That way you could have had nice warm soup for dinner, lots of good coffee, and maybe some warm breakfast. It looked like Lee was eating oatmeal. Would it not be more fun if the two of you were in the same fishing hut fishing. It might be too crowed because you used the bigger one as a tent. What state, area, or general camping/lake were you? I am jus curious what state you were in- even what country. I know it is Lee's secret spot, but you can give a general idea. Looks like if you are equipped properly that ice fishing could be fun.
