After killing the dancer you can Farm large titanites from the Knight right above the ladder, ITS 100% drop rate and he gives you 5k souls

What he means is that you can go and fight the dancer whenever you want, all you have to do is kill the old lady that gave you the banner(thats sitting on the chair, thats across the first boss areana, you have to kill her to start the dancer fight) its basically a speed run if you can fight the dancer at low level. 2 years later... this is a pretty decent guide. Word to anyone who still hasn't played DS3 yet - DS3 Mages aren't as strong as Demon Soul or Elden Ring mages at the beginning. Not until you get Hidden Body and Pestilent Mist (which requires lvl 30 Intel) which by the earliest you can get it in the high lvl 20s. Be prepared for a lot of tanky enemies and rushing bonfires but it's as closest as you'll get to easy mode. ALSO, after defeating Dancer of the Boreal Valley, push on to defeat Oceiros just around the corner for the Moonlight Greatsword - a very solid and one of the most powerful weapons a Mage can use.

Step 1. Get 30 int Step 2. Get dark hand and a staff of your choice Step 3. Use dark hand weapon art to 1 shot npcs and pestilence mist the dancer, ociris, and the giant at the deacons church to freely get Lloyds ring and not have to fight him in the sludge.... Then head to dlc and fight sister friede... She is weak to dark so the dark hand works well. Phase 1 go for dark hand backstabs, phase 2 pestilence mist father and dark hand his other side to bait him into close range attacks to keep him in the mist, phase 3 go for backstabs again and if your bringing gael AND YOU SHOULD hope he can stunlock her as both of you attacking at the same time staggers her like crazy and can get her to like half hp WAY too quickly... The second half is up to you... I also recommend not entering the boss fight embered and wait till phase 2 to ember as phase 1 is easy enough to survive even without taking damage if done right and that means your going to be midway to phase 2 before even needing a heal of any kind meaning you can have like 11 heals from phase 2 forward... Step 4. After your done slaughtering so many bosses you should get friedes scythes and use all those souls to get to 40 int and 40 dex. Having so much dex will also help with casting speed. Your scythes have WAAAAAAAAY more reach than the dark hand and are a much better weapon and scales off int and dex making it the perfect weapon for this style of build. At this point you wont really need mist anymore so swap it out for snap freeze as it pairs well with the scythes. Your dark hand works well with annoying invaders, scythes work great for everything else, spells for bosses... At this point you can OBLITERATE pretty much any nondlc boss. Spend some time farming the lothric knights and get a lot more hp and endurance at this point as you wont have nearly enough... Also if you can land the scythe's full weapon art combo you activate pontiffs left eye and it costs no fp to use but I wouldn't recommend using it over other rings... You can also save the pyromancer to get a flame hand to cast pyromancy but i would only get that for rapport and black flame. You can head to dreg heap to get more dark spells or go and do story bosses to get closer to the end of the game, again they all will be basically nothing to you now...

WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED THAT.... there repetitive. every pyromancy build is "40 int 40 faith plop the rest into att till you have enough spell slots for the spells you want and then pump hp" there is no variety because everyone knows how to min max and they NEVER divert from that its the same curse xenoverse build videos have. every male earthling is a strike build, every saiyan is a hybrid or a ki blast build, every majin is a tank... there all the exact same... to the point i havent switched my stats since DAY 1 OF HE GAME RELEASING and to this very day nearly a decade later and we STILL have the same exact stuff only new dlc moves and new forms... nothings changed nothing will change... every build video in seemingly every game is the same min maxed boring crap
