Welcome back to our Lean Construction Series on Waste! In Part 2, we delve into Overproduction, one of the eight key areas of waste in construction projects. Overproduction occurs when more materials, components, or services are produced than necessary or earlier than needed, leading to increased costs, wasted resources, and inefficiencies on the job site.
In this video, we'll explore:
What overproduction is and why it happens in construction.
Real-world examples of overproduction and its impact on project budgets and schedules.
Practical strategies to mitigate overproduction, including Just-In-Time delivery, enhanced planning, and lean construction principles.
Join us as we uncover the hidden costs of overproduction and provide actionable insights to help you optimize your projects. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more insights into the 8 areas of waste in construction!
