$115 a month for a 2 bedroom, man everytime I see these cheap rentals i'm amazed. A cheap studio apartment with no bedrooms here in Texas runs $1000-1200/month and you can rent a whole damn house there for almost 1/9th the price there in PH. Thanks for the new home tour uncle Marc, we know you gonna hook it up within a few weeks.
@marcshields3677 Жыл бұрын
Where in Texas are you? We’re in DWF area and own 4plexs with 3 bdrm townhouses. Only charge 975$ per month rent. 1000$ per month for a studio is nuts. You must be in a really expensive area.

@@marcshields3677 Hi, I live in Arlington which is right inbetween Dallas and Fort Worth. The Average price of a 1 bedroom here is $1100, Most studios in the areas aren't that much cheaper and often never available. Right now I just live with roomates in a house, I'd love to see the places you have listed, I don't see rents under 1k often in DFW area.

Hello Marcos, you are right to plan painting all the inside room . It needs it. Painting outside fence wall and spray wash all outside parking and play area will also make it great for you and the kids. Impressive that you found this inexpensive crib near Cebu. You are a King.!

I grew up pretty poor and watching these videos of the Philippines reminds me a lot of my childhood. I originally grew up in southern Kentucky with no indoor plumbing and wood burning stove for heat, no air con of course. I think I was 11 the first time we had AC in our place. As long as everyone is living the same, you really don't need much to be happy.

Me too, I grew in Arkansas out of the family farm. My Grandmother who died in 1990 Never lived in a house her entire life that had an indoor Bathroom. We lived next door to her in a house my Father built & I didn't have Air con till I moved out on my own when I turned 21.

Yep it’s a $115 a month house in the Philippines. One step up from the village. When you keep chasing cheaper and cheaper rent in the Philippines and moving over and over your final destination will be the village. You can’t go lower than that.
@KrayPurn Жыл бұрын
I watch a video of yours every now and then. One of the things I admire about you is that you have the uncanny ability to see the positive in every situation. That is a rare trait now a days. That house has a lot of potential if someone is willing to put some time and effort in to making it their own. And it is hard to beat that price. Labor as you know is cheap. I see you directing your troops during that shopping spree 🤣🤣🤣🤣

He sure seen the bright side of living in a dump, cheap ass furniture, sleeping on the floor, counting every penny when it come to his family. But when it come to dropping 3 grand on a camera or flying first class on his semi weekly get away`s from his family, it`s nothing but 5 Stars and CIgars!!

I do not think you will be able to get two couches across from each other in that living room, looks quite narrow. When I was in the province the house would not have water often because neighbors have large water tanks that they are filling. When they do that it robs everyone else of water, PITA when that garbage can is running out of water and you need it for the CR, washing clothes, washing dishes, showers. Also ask the women in the sari sari store if they are using tap water, or filtered water, for the ice. The damn sari sari store near the house has filtered water they sell, yet they use tap water for some reason for the plastic ice tubes.

As for sleeping on the floor.😊 I got beds in the rooms and I still find one or two layed out on the tiles.. I stopped asking or complaining because they still gonna do it. I laughed about the washing machine... how is it filipina's feel they not doing their job if they not actually washing by hand? Glad your home..
