We usually waste ourtime in overthinking, and as per psychologists, it is a kind of addiction. Our thoughts are often habitual, influnced by past experiences, present awareness and pre-conceived notions. Just as normal vital organs work continuously, similarly, our minds keep thinking. It is not possible to stop thinking, but what we think can be controlled Thank you so much for this inspirational video

I can say overthinking is a kind of disease and many of us are suffering from that. At the workplace, also because of overthinking, we are stuck in many problems. Thank you so much @Coach APM for this inspirational video.

Sometimes it happens with everyone that we put too much effort to do an easy task because we are already surrounded with some thoughts. We need to be spontaneous to think and react according to the situations. Overthinking and pre thoughts about anything leads to some sort of loss ending with loss of time and energy. Also, this becomes a habit for us and we don't even realise that we are into this trap. So we need to get out of it and stop overthinking and do what the situation demands and act accordingly.

Simply great!!! Overthinking causes many problems associated with human health. I have read many research articles that depict, overthinking causes skin problems, Alzheimer, etc. But here I have one point, most of the time overthinking comes from the surrounding atmosphere. One can't change his/her situation, in that case how one can stop overthinking?
@coachapm
@coachapm 4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Avishkar :) Surroundings would impact the thought process of an adult-only when he/she gives his/her control to surroundings. I know we have 0% control on stimuli but as an adult, we have 100% control on our response to those stimuli :)

I think it's an very important message for all us to limit overthinking about a situation, about future , about what if ...... and use of Houdini's example to communicate it very apt .... but can we really tag preconceived notion and overthinking as one and the same? Is perception about a person or a situation is outcome of overthinking ? Your views please
@coachapm
@coachapm 4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Swapnil for highlighting this aspect :) I consider "Preconceived Notions " as one of the major blockers with respect to the smooth flow of free thoughts. They don't allow us to experience the situation and people as they are. And more often than not such notions are created by mulling over the situations for longer than really required. These notions are most of the time results of over-thinking/over-analysis.
