Thank you. I needed this 🙏 btw I've also noticed that my overthinking comes when I deal with people online. The over analysing of texts and the meaning behind it. When I meet people face to face, I easily accept people and situations. I can easily brush things off. My mind is calm. And this is common not only for people whom I trust but also for people whom I'm meeting for the first time. But online, if I'm talking to somebody who's not a friend, the mind goes into hyper overthinking mode. My guard is on hyper mode. Any thoughts on this?

Dec month k end me mujhe khud k prati negetive though aya ki mai mar jaunga , phir mai us vichar ko analysis karne laga ki ye thought kyo aya, jaise hi analyze karne laga to death related vichar aur ane laga.. Phir mai is vichar ko dabane laga matlab supress karne laga.. jitna supress karta vichar aur jayada alag -alag type ka ane laga... phir na ghar me man lage aur na kaam par man lage... Mind puri tarah se out-of focus ho gaya... aisa lag raha tha ki mai negetive though pattern me trap ho gaya...Ek self hypnotized ki tarah... Mera dhyaan sirf apne hi though par chala tha... Akele rahne se bhi dar lagne laga tha.... Phir you tube par apka video mila... kuch bato ko dharan kar badlav hua hai.. man karta hai CBT course kar lu....

Useful information. **To feel better reduce negative thoughts. Be careful what you feed your mind. Avoid comparing yourself with others, reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. For a relaxed mind observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 10-15-20 minutes or more. You can sit or lie down, neck straight and eyes closed. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. Don’t fight your thoughts. With practice the mind will relax. Keep a reminder to observe your breath sensations throughout the day and night --before sleep, when reading, at work, when sitting in the park etc anywhere-anytime. . Like me, make this a lifetime habit to have a better life. Best wishes--Counsellor.

Such videos which apparently try to help you with some intellectual understanding prevent an insight into the processes that are wrecking havoc inside us. The suffering 'me' that attempts to analyse these processes is not above the level of the thought but it is the same as the totality of the overwhelming thoughts, desires. In other words, trying to dissect the thoughts or observe them from the same thought is like a dog trying to chase its own tail. The correct answer lies that the observer should be a level higher than the level of these dark thoughts. But how? I am leaving it to the readers to make an independent inquiry.
