The problem about quantity, from what I've seen some people do, they never try to improve from their last work. They cope thinking they're original, "my style". Like you said, you have to experiment and ask yourself what you can improve on your recent work! Also with quantity, makes you a really really efficient high quality individual

100%, this is all assuming you are constantly evaluating what works for you and being self aware enough to iterate. “churning out content” like a machine sounds pretty uncreative
