I’ve been using iPad Pro as my mobile device with my iMac as my desktop. Perfect combination for the type of work I do. And ALWAYS enjoy Fernando’s thoughts on the iPad experience.🐬

I miss my iPad mini. It was the best. I could fit it in my purse and do everything with it. I’m currently using the 8th gen iPad. Had some vision problems so decided to go up to a bigger screen.

I have to agree with Fernando, the iPad mini is the best tablet for most use cases. It's light and the most portable. It's the ONLY iPad that has a flash for the rear camera other than the Pro model. If you want to do audio or video production, get a MacBook Air. The iPad platform is still too hard to get big files in and out of the device and the software isn't as robust as the Mac versions.

Just get a used cinema or Thunderbolt Display for $100-$200!!! Still a great Apple product. $1500 is nuts for a single monitor.

Nice video. In my case. I tried to go all in on iPad, only ipad for a few years. If you depend on web apps, thats were it breaks!, google apps are soooooo bad!, and on web are just Ok. Google drive won’t open correctly on safari on iPad. Once you pass that learning curve of using only an iPad, it is more fun to use, some tasks are much better on iPad, but Safari is were it breaks. In my case. Because most apps are slim down versions of the full web app, even Notion is a slim down version of the web app or desktop app (on iPad web app is a mobile app) For me, I can do most of my tasks on iPad, but not as efficient as on a Macbook. So, iPad at the end is a companion device, not a main device. Even Fernando ALWAYS has a mac connected to the monitor on his videos.

Could somebody of the ipad lovers here please install AVA voice to text app on an ipad 10th gen, and ipad air and ipad Pro (if you have those) and let me please know how well or bad AVA succeeds to transcribe the voice. I need to recommend an ipad to buy to an almost deaf friend. I know the microphones are different which influences the way AVA succeeds to transcribe the voice. She needs it ASAP to be able to communicate better. Thanks very much.
