It would be hard because Maddie will keep mentoring the rookies on how to secure a spot in the final roster. And judges don't want to have a hard time weeding out the auditionees who had little improvement since the preliminaries.

Maddie grew into herself. Her confidence grew every year she was a DCC . It was agonizing to watch her that first rookie year, and so inspiring to watch her now. I have no doubt she has inspired thousands of young and older women to not give up in life.

MADDIE! MADDIE!! MADDIE!! OH MY!! MADDIE!! I was so happy to see her. I even let out a yell when I saw her come into the room. 💞💕👏🎉📢🌞😘😍 Criscilla is an inspiration. Her story hit home with me. My BF of 11 years passed away last year of Lung Cancer. His started out as Colon cancer. You may not be a DCC but you still have every day to inspire someone with a smile, hug, etc.

I knew Maddie would eventually be back. I would like to see Kelli and Judy team her up with Melissa Rycroft. I know if it was my decision to make both Maddie and Melissa would be very high on my list to take Kelli and Judy's places when they retire. I know that there are some that despise both of them and will try and let me know how dumb I am for that but I don't care I won't take that back at all.

The fact that they cut Melanie, who while she's made a few memory mistakes, had power and showmanship, and kept Ashley, who while tall and pretty, has absolutely no power, just confounds me. They've cut plenty of girls because they lacked the power necessary for a DCC.

@Jessica I disagree. Melissa trained in ballroom which is actually harder than pom style dance. Then won dancing with the Stars which reached millions of viewers. Maddie doesn't have the charisma that Melissa has.
