Love the comeback girls, especially Tori! Can’t believe she didn’t make it last year. Madeline looks like a different dancer and so happy for her! Ashlin is stronger too. Good for them!

Ashlinn and Tori didn't make the squad because of lack of space. It had nothing to do with them or their dance ability. They just didn't have enough uniforms to give out. Judy told Ashlinn this when she was cut. The only way Ashlinn could make the team is if they take away a veteran's uniform and there wasn't a veteran on last year's squad whose uniform they could take away. That's why Judy pleaded with Ashlinn to come back the next year. She also told her that she just needed a little more polish and she would be fine. Sometimes a year can do wonders. Look at what it did for Victoria and Maddie. They both were cut their first time trying out and they came back the following year and knocked it out the park. They even made show group so sometimes getting cut could be the best thing ever. What really irks me was that they didn't have this same attitude with Meredith. They should've cut Meredith the same way they cut Ashlinn and Tori. They should've cut Meredith and demanded that she take more classes. She was in desperate need of work. She needed to take jazz, hip-hop, modern, pom. Meredith needed a lot of work before she could become a DCC but Kelli and Judy didn't do that. They allowed her to make the team when they knew she wasn't ready in no way, shape or form.

Kelee made the team, good for her!!! When she got her makeover on her hair. The fellow squad went crazy they were so proud of her she did so well with her routines after that. She was a beautiful swan coming out of her cocoon.

I miss the full recaps but this will have to do. It was nice to hear Cailey's story. Cailey was very smart not to tell them about her back injury from the beginning. She didn't want to be given any special treatment purely because of her injury. She wanted to judged fairly. I respect her for that. Its unfortunate that they had to cut her but it was understandable. DCC training camp is very grueling and Kelli is right its only get more and more intense. I hope Cailey can come back. I believe she has what it takes. Her exit was very classy. She held her head high and gained the respect of the two most celebrated women in the business. It was nice to see Kelli get emotional. You could tell she really loves her job. She loves what she does. She wouldn't have it any other way. You could tell she loves these girls so much and she wants all of them to succeed and be the very best at what they do. Kelli Finglass you are an amazing woman. We see you and appreciate what you do. Now can someone please spill the tea on Ava? What was she doing in the video.

No she’s not an alternative, she never tried out again after the fifth time, which I understand. I wouldn’t want to have my dreams cut off they way she did. But a lot of dcc fans were rooting for her. There’s a video about her journey if I’m not mistaken. Just look up Alexandria dcc and it’s the first video that pops up!

Young people today, IMO, are going to have some shocks ahead of them when it comes to beginning their professional career. The Junior DCC program is the DCC squad for kids. Its where they teach aspiring little DCCs choreography. They give them their own set of pom poms. They even get to perform at selected Cowboys events. They get to meet the current DCCs. Its a very nice program. Its very rewarding for little girls. Victoria was a Junior DCC so was Cassie Trammell and Cersten Bradley a former DCC was a Junior DCC too. So its a very good program to join.

These overtime recaps are not the same as the old recaps😭. Id rather see full clips of the show than have Judy and Kelli talk through everything. But what am I doing complaining lol.
