Ukraine was willing to sign that first treaty before the war broke out until the US convinced the UK to send Boris Johnson to urge Zelenskyy not to sign. And our media and Corn Pop said over and over again how this incursion was "unprovoked." Now Joe is trying to convince us that Russia won't stop with Ukraine, but will try to keep expanding their territory, lol. I can't believe he relies on only mainstream cable tv news hosts and doesn't do any preparatory research via in-depth independent journalists, former military, or academics, where he might actually learn more about the issues and understand nuance, background, history, etc. Seems like having a show about politics would make you curious enough to do these things. I guess he's got enough hubris to just step onto the set and feel that wealth and class are all he needs to be "qualified." But 🤮.

News flash. The pledge of allegiance is said every day while standing with their hand over their heart. Then, we have a moment of silence where everyone is encouraged to pray . If they don't have a religion or are atheist, we encourage them to have a positive thought for a good day.
@Knightmessenger5 ай бұрын
The pledge of allegiance was written by a socialist. Why should kids blindly recite propaganda in unison that fittingly originated from a socialist? The fact that it has buzzwords that appeal to right wingers today doesn't change the fact that it's still encouraging kids to recite obedience without fully understanding what they are committing to, something more befitting of a communist country.

Equality doesn't mean you pick and chose the benefits. Women should absolutely be part of the draft if men are. Anything else is excuse making, we're not a tribe of 100 people where women fighting would decimate the population anymore and nor did that reason ever really make sense in a largely monogamous society. Most roles aren't frontline combat either, women should contribute equally.
