On the 3rd goal against, I was thinking the exact thing you demonstrated after the goal. And, that dude had a pass opportunity to the other side of the net as well, if he had made that move and you slid to him in butterfly, you would have had a push off chance at that shot too. Gotta have it in our heads before it can become muscle memory. Sticks and Pucks is a great place to practice and develop the muscle memory...and the guys on the ice will appreciate a goalie out there. - Several nice stops in the 3rd & OT.

@@CrawDaddySaves Sticks and Pucks might sound silly, but it is a great chance to get into the detail of how you want to make a move and then practice, even if it is up against the boards. You will have nobody bothering you (like the zam driver, refs or teammates wanting you in the net). After rehabbing a rotator cuff surgery, I went to Sticks and Pucks 3 times a week (yeah, I'm retired) for a month. When I got back to playing, I was shutting down guys I barely had a chance against before and even had some dudes come up to me asking what the hell I had done! Practice....simple. :)
