Hey bro I think the biggest misconception is that the more you lift the better you'll be on the field. Not saying lifting a large amount of weight, isnt good but it is more primarily your explosiveness. If your max in bench press is 225, do 175 to 185 as fast, but in perfect form. Explosiveness is what will give you the real edge. 💯👌💪

I feel like tackling hard comes from the "heart". During 8th grade I was 5 10 and 140lbs I ran 100m in 11.2, I can rep 45s, but I notice that your mentality and mindset play a larger role. I would listen to Pantera before games and thats always got me fired up.

You explained this perfectly. Hope I can translate this to my game. I definitely feel the hesitation. Running through someone is another thing as I come to slow up or stop at the point of contact to maybe brace myself.

Energy transfers more efficiently through a ridged object and less efficiently through a loose or unridged because when you hit a ridged object there’s no crumple so the force is transferred immediately and when you hit a loose object (or in the case skin and muscle) it bends and Maluates slowing down the speed of force and limiting peak force in an area
