We were there for this live show…Lucy, Martha, Will, her other guest performers, and the orchestra were FANTASTIC!!! My wife and I traveled from Houston Texas to see Lucy perform on stage!!! What a memorable night!

Hi Chris. My husband and I live in Spring. We were both born and raised in Houston. Wish we had met you!! What a concert this was. We sat on row 2. Awesome! Phenomenal!! Fantastic!!! Lucy sounded better than ever!!! I just kept say "WOW"

I was there too, I was from only 30 miles east though, so I think you beat me for the journey effort 🤣. It was like a dream come true to see Lucy 'for real' wasn't it? So nice to see how natural and humble she is.

@@tasercs So glad you could travel to see her. Some even in the UK could not due to health or scheduling issues. Lucy is just extraordinary in all facets. I just felt so blessed to be there in Manchester and then London. Anxiously awaiting the date for Rosie!!!

We were there on that magical evening!! Really feel there is a poor choice of musicals in London at present. Love Les Miserables and Phantom but have seem both a number of times of the last three decades. Although Les Miserables cast in March 2024 was absoluting outstanding. Move over Oliver revival and the many juke box and film musicals. We need new musicals like Rosie with beautifully sweeping scores!!

Fabulous orchestra!! Fabulous arrangement. This overture was out of this world and set the mood perfectly!! Thank you Chris Broom! I was even more excited for the rest of the concert, and to see the gorgeous Lucy Thomas just float out on stage, well, I knew we were witnessing history. Bravo everyone!!

This overture is magnificent. I dare say that the musical will be a worldwide success. Chris Broom shows his unique talent here and his compositions will be the emotional basis for the story of Rosie. With Lucy as the leading actress and the entire fantastic team, the audience will be transported to the beginning of the 20th century and experience the life of Rosie Boote - not just as a spectator, but very close, in her own heart.💖

One needs to listen very closely to appreciate all that is going on in this wonderful overture of orchestral music. I particularly love the role of the harp, the French horns, and the cello, but everything blends together magnificently and the exceptional musical themes on display here are testimony to the brilliance of Chris Broom, the creative behind this awe inspiring music.

I listened to Desperado , sang by Lucy and then immediately subscribed to Lucy Thomas Music , I never knew, that it would carry me into another world of music I never experienced , but it did , and it really made a difference in my life in a good way . And this musical will definitely carry me farther into something I really don't know much about , but I know that it is going to be an amazing journey of music and talent . Hello, the " Overture " from the musical " Rosie " is just so amazing, if this musical ever gets of the ground it will be the best musical that has been released since " The Sound Of Music " Chris Broom is just an amazing songwriter he has this very rare gift of composing music which is just so great & to have Lucy Thomas as the leading Lady she is a gift from GOD, what an amazing combination we have in these two, I know to put this musical on to the stage will cost millions so I do hope Chris Broom will have plenty of backers to help him out. I just can't wait for " Rosie " to be put on the West End Stage & then Broadway. Take care, Barbara.

Incredible such a beautiful intro to such an amazing concert with that fantastic orchestra and Chris Broom's very own modern masterpieces melded into one medley at the baton of superb conductor Robert Guy. It goes without saying of course this was just the warm up before a very special young lady with a phenomenal voice by the name of Lucy Willow Thomas was introduced to the stage. A night that will live long in the memory for everyone who attended and I'm proud to say I was one of those lucky enough to be in that audience at such a grand and prestigious theatre.

the orchestra is conducting beautifully and what can you hear in this beautiful overture delicate phrases of Sztraus, sometimes you can hear sadness and joy of the longing and a beautiful ending introducing the two creators of Sztraus, Chris Broom himself the creator of the romanticism of this opera or Musical although for the premiere it is always the case that the author of Chris Broom should start the first 3 bars they pass the baton to the designated Conductor the piece raises the author's rage and trust

I have been waiting for the actual stage production, so when will it be produced? I love the music and the songs and story, but I cannot find the on stage production with acting and music. The American production, "Waitress", is a poor imitation in my opinion. When, and where is Rosie?
