The part pushing it in and shutting the door made laugh so hard.🤣

The kit for my LS swapped 67 Chevelle just arrived today. Really looking forward to putting it in after reading the reviews of CAA vs VA. I’m in Phoenix and it gets close to 120* here in the summer.

I just installed a classic auto air system on a 69 gto. Having done a vintage air system in a 70 c-10, i can tell you, go with vintage air. The controller is better on the classic auto air system hands down. The components themselves are comparable. Where vintage air shines is fitment. Brackets, everything you need is almost bolt on. Not so with Classic Auto. 1. The condenser- CA, have to drill four holes in radiator core to mount then have to drill 2 1" holes in radiator core to run lines. VA - bolt on. No driling. 2. the unit under the dash - CA, one...one ...one...tiny little stud screwed to the plastic housing supports the entire unit. I give it a month before road vibrations alone crack the little bracket off the tiny screw. VA, comes with a bracket than supports the entire unit with 4 sheet metal screws and one bolt. 3. Block off plate. CA, thin piece of plastic. VA, metal plate that the unit screws to. Very firm. Not a problem when installing hoses. With CA, you need to be very careful about pushing the heater hoses on or you will break the plastic the one....one....one...little stud holding the entire unit under the dash. 4. LS swap? just call VA and they will send a compressor with the right pulley. CA? You get what you get. The end. I would not buy the classic auto unit again. Vintage Air does not make one for the GTO but i would rather custom fit one from a Chevelle to the car before buying the Classic Auto unit. The controller is better. I do not like the one from Vintage air. But the entire kit is better thought out and engineered on Vintage Air.

I'm having a problem with my pressure switch getting the clutch to engage. 1975Pontiac400 I jumped the pressure switch and nothing. Original system was a VIR system. It did blow cold until I tired to jump the pressure switch. Any help please

Do you like classic better than vintage air?

Oddly I like both, it often falls to application; which one suits the needs better.

Mb cB $1,499 with the added custom control head and about $140-$160 for the pulley kit depending on which one you buy.
