Just got my second one in this morning. This is one nice knife. Very sharp right out of the box.

Would be nice if they did a full sweep and switched all their patterns to vg10

Would be nice but honestly I like their 440a and I aim to own a t10 carbon and 440b. Just purchased a VG 10

Tru-sharp is cases name for what is actually 420hc. The reason it doesn't hold an edge like buck is because bucks heat treatment is far better.

What is the brand he says at 2:56? Great Asian Cutlery? Gradation Cutlery? Grey Haitian Cutlery? I've replayed several times and can not hear clearly what's being said.

Whats with the tree blades. Never understood and little info out there on multi blade knives. I guess they have different functions but what?
@KnifeThoughts3 жыл бұрын
There was a time when one was general use (clip point) one was pull cuts (sheepfoot) and the other was flesh (spey). Tbh, now it’s just a part of the pattern.

I know this video is old but it only serves my point more. This is why i dont but high end "super steels" at $200+ per knife. At the time this video was made these vg-10 RR knives were around $25 each. Around 2012-2013 or so vg-10 was a "super steel" only found in higher priced blades. Now (2024) i just purchased the ENTIRE RR vg-10 line for $10-$13 each brand spanking new. Anyone who plays into the super steel hype is just a fool imo.v
