Tru-sharp is cases name for what is actually 420hc. The reason it doesn't hold an edge like buck is because bucks heat treatment is far better.

Whats with the tree blades. Never understood and little info out there on multi blade knives. I guess they have different functions but what?

There was a time when one was general use (clip point) one was pull cuts (sheepfoot) and the other was flesh (spey). Tbh, now it’s just a part of the pattern.

Clip is for splinters and zip ties. Sheepsfoot is for hay wrap spey is a gut blade that's how mine works yours might be different depending on model year
