Overwatch 2 Devs Balancing Method is Questionable

The way the game is balanced is really questionable especially the way they go about who needs a buff & a nerf. They go based on statistics which is good depending on the statistics they base it on but they seem to base it on win rate, this is truly a double-edged sword since 70 or 80 percent of tanks are forced to play Dva so of course she won't be over performing.

Ik this doesn't solve the game's many issues but in my humblest of opinions, I prefer having D.va, JQ and winton meta rather than the holy Trinity of despair (horse, pig and the fat Samoan man)

@imnotreanalbertospynotatal6968 The other 3 tanks can get countered much easier than D.va can, you need multiple counters against D.va since she has no true counters. The 3 other tanks can get countered by a good Ana or Reaper. I would prefer a meta where JQ or Winston were the dominating tanks since you know there was some actual skill into playing them unlike D.va.

@@KPR56 I highly disagree with winton/ JQ metas being any more skillful. At least the JQ meta isn't. When she used to be gega busted with 2x healing scaling, she'd literally be unkillable. All she had to do was spam Axe and she would get free value. Winton is usually meta when dive is or when D.va is since he's a good counter to her.

@imbotreanalbertospynotatal6968 JQ doesn't have any armor & has to play more around cover then Dva would. Like I mentioned before an anti literally stops her from gaining health in general which then counters her. Winston definitely takes more skill than the both of them tho.

The "Dva is too strong" thing is overblown to hell. Dva was the most generalist tank in terms of attack style and potency, and now that there is only one tank and they were all giga buffed to compensate, it makes sense that the jack of all trades is not seeing so much success. The minute she leaves the meta, Hog, Mauga and Orisa will creep back and make the game unplayable again

@ItsThatKidGreg Defense Matrix also doesn't let you play the game, the other people are more easily countered but Dva has no true counter. Hog, Mauga, or Orisa get picked, go Ana, & Reaper counters Hog & Mauga pretty easily. He can even take care of Orisa if they bait out the fortify. We can agree to disagree but my experience against the other 3 tanks you have a problem with has not been as horrible as this current Dva dominated meta.

​@@KPR56brig literally can go 1 v 1 versus dva and Moira can as well. And even on their dps there are plenty of options who can at their very least compete with her as of now

@nabbitxz26 Brig can stall for a bit but if they actually know how to play Dva then it's a matter of when she'll merk you. I still choose Brig however to play around a D.va not to counter her specifically.

What skins, the only Remarkable dva skins that cost money in the last 2 years are the Le sserafim and Porsche ones
