They were lazy with a lot of the skins IMO. Bastions used to be on the minigun when he was in that form and on the barrel of his cannon when in tank form. But now with the minigun it’s barely there, if at all when using OW1 model skins and his ultimate is a joke. It really wouldn’t have been hard.

Some potential fixes to the… less good golden guns: Orisa’s spear should be entirely golden. Making her gun more gold during her fortify wouldn’t make much of a difference, so at least having a full golden spear would be a nice side grade Moira’s corrupt arm in its entirety could be dipped gold. It’s kind of hard to goldify any other part of her ‘weapon’, so the arm makes more sense And dare I say it, Golden Hammond. Might not be able to see it in first person, but knowing we’re playing as a gold hamster is worth the 3000 comp points alone

1) orisa spear is entirely green during gameplay, you cannot see it at all (or at most only in small fractions before it becomes green) 2) I can understand this one, moira’s arms are really hard to make a good weapon out of 3) golden hammond is literally a skin

I think you need to take another look at the gold Lucio gun my friend. Every gold gun in the game has the same kinda shimmer that flashes every couple seconds, but Lucio's gold gun flashes green and yellow to go with his music, absolutely beautiful.

Also, Samul Nori Lucio's golden weapon is the absolute best one in the game IMHO. The colors just work so perfectly well, it's like it was made for the golden skin.

As a tank main I totally agree with this but I think sigma and wrecking ball weren’t fairly judged because sigma’s shield turns gold too and you can see the gold shield pieces on his other arm and when it’s deployed. Wrecking ball gets his entire control panel golden. I agree that he should have something more since there’s no gold in his ball form but at least he has a lot of gold in first person that the gun previews don’t show

I typically don't rock the golden weapons even with the characters I own them with. The shiny gold looks a little tacky on a lot of costumes, and on occasion I like swapping costumes depending on the map we are on. However I actually really like the look of Kiriko's golden weapons. It's not overly flashy and over the top. But it's there just enough so you can see it. It's probably one of my favorite looking ones.

I recently bought Sigma's and was pleasantly surprised. The golden gun screen is misleading. His gauntlets are golden, the solid corners of the shield are golden, as well as the actual spheres. Definitely a pretty solid one.

Sigma's gold gun is literally upgraded version of echo and moira's golds, you get golden hands like echo + golden balls like zenyatta and as a bonus corners of your shield becomes golden as well. It looks clean with his winter skin.

With Moira unfortunately it's very skin dependent, I find that both of her archive skins look really good with the gold (Blackwatch and Scientist) but I get where you're coming from. But Sigma should be in perfect imo, it's not just the hyper spheres that turn gold, his arms also turn gold and the borders of his shield which look great.

They really should've made Wrecking Ball's entire ball gold. His is just unnoticeable. Heck, making his arm cannons all gold would be sick, but Imagine an animation where turning from his attack form to ball form caused the gold on his arms to spread across the entire mech. It'd be so good

Zarya is a top tier no discussion, have you tested it in game with skins like the lunar new year or Cyberian? Echo golden weap looks pretty amazing with the good&evil limited time $10 skin. Dva's golden gun matches PERFECTLY with Seoul Dinasty skin. Both home and away. lastly, Pharah has some really sick skins with the golden weapon. Reaper with the Blackwatch Reyes skin and Soldier with a couple legendary skins jumps straight to Amazing or even perfect tier..
