Why? He is of Mexican descent by ethnicity, but he was born and raised in the US. His native tongue is American English. Not everyone learns to speak the language of their ancestors. See Hanzo’s voice actor, for example. He is Japanese American, but he went on record saying he speaks zero Japanese, just English.

2:02 Mercy isn't speaking Swiss German, just normal German. The voice actress is trying to immitate a Swiss accent, but she herself is German. You can only speak Swiss German if you're raised with it, since it's a Dialect and not technically its own language. Canadian English is not an actual thing lol. They speak the general American English accent and use british spelling. Canadians do have specific accents though but that goes without saying. Sojourn being from Toronto would have the same dialect as Ashe, Mcree, Reaper but shares the same accent with just soldier 76 or Winston. she would use the same English spelling as Tracer however.
