for the character unlock, most people dont know this since if you're a ow1 player you got kiriko imediatly, but after the season you get a bunch of relatively easy challenges that you have to complete to get the character. For Kiriko, you have to do a bunch of things in the shooting range with her and then get wins as support or "any roles" in casual or competitive. So while it takes a while anyways, battle pass or challenges after, calling it a paywall is a bit too much.

The issue is that in the season that they come out, there is no other option. And if they are OP (Kiriko was) then you need them to win ranked games. It’s scummy, and even if it’s easier to unlock later, the season they come out it’s intentionally not easy

About the sigma black hole tweet, some very small black holes can be formed but are so unstable that they last mere moments until they eventually dissipate and since sigma is a world renowned scientist he might’ve figured out a way to harness that

@@heroesinhoodies1210 no, no they do not. You need a certain amount of mass to achieve the density of a black hole, which is basically infinite. Iirc, you'd have to take earth and condense it down to just about the width of a pinpoint, only to get a black hole that is so unstable that it would immediately collapse and basically turn our planet into a mega bomb. And again, the extreme mass and, theoretically infinite, density would make it so the black holes passing "through earth" would literally rip lines through the planet and everything on it, literally forcefully removing atoms from their place and distorting light by a significant amount. You would be able to see them. They are black after all

While those black holes can be formed, they can't be formed here on earth. Doing so would create an absolutely uncontainable, nearly instantly detonating blast stronger than any hydrogen bomb that we've ever used. I seriously believe ya'll underestimate the amount of energy required to make and sustain a black hole, they have enough mass to bend light to the point of disappearing in them, and (if math is to be believed) that all of their mass is in the singularity, which is also infinitely small yet at the same time infinitely dense. We can be so fckn happy and lucky that we literally do not have enough mass available to make a black hole, otherwise it definitely wouldn't end well. Don't forget that black holes, just like neutron stars, are Univeral extremes. Uncomparable to anything we could possibly ever imagine.

You could briefly go 3rd person (this would help with spatial awareness in good players) or just simply have it be a short animation since the roll is super duper quick. A game called paladins has a good way of obtaining characters, you can collect gold in matches that you can spend on characters to unlock them, prices vary, but they are usually ranked by how complicated they are to play, for instance, the most complicated characters are 6000 gold while the simplest are 1500

In Apex, I find it hard to get legend tokens. I got my first legend after 3 months of constantly getting destroyed. In Overwatch, I got my first hero within 40 days and you can also do challenges to unlock the heroes after the season. Not defending Overwatch here, but I genuinely feel that unlocking characters in Overwatch is easier than in Apex.

in ow's defense; unlocking the new hero at tier 45 of the battle pass is doable within 2 weeks if u play semi religiously. New characters are banned for 2 weeks in comp, so there's no real unfair advantage there imo
