I was so torn with the idea of a mercy mythic, since I want a super beautiful and fantasy princess skin but I also wanted a more edgy skin. I think they did a great job with this tbh. Mercy is such a pure and angelic character she was the obviously choice for this theme.

This is, to me, a really interesting choice to explore for the Mythic because we see Mercy in a very different role than usual from overworked pacifistic doctor and someone that offers smart advice (that people don't take but should) to Talon LEADER And we'll have more opportunities to get pretty Mercy skins in the future perhaps! So it's not like that WON'T happen but it just won't be her Mythic is all

I LOVE this skin, it wasn't what I was hoping for (I'm basic, I wanted magical girl) but the design is actually really good imo (some people on the subreddit were saying it looks bulky, but I actually think it balances strong/bulky body armor with sleek/elegant cloth really well for a genuinely quality design). I was so worried the mercy mythic would turn out like hanzos and orisas, but it looks amazing

I think I saw someone on TikTok talk about how the color schemes are for the three evil groups in the game, being Talon, Null Sector, and Vishkar. I think that's a neat idea, I wonder if that's what they were going for. Still such a good skin!

Oh I’m not editing or replying to my original comment because it’s about the design of Mercy’s skin (and other cosmetic things), but I just wanna say that they so switched Mercy and Moira’s roles. If we have a part two of this, Moira is so gonna be pulling out that “heroes always prosper” kinda behavior. This is even more apparent in the hair being slicked back, kinda like Moira’s and the nature of her select animation’s rez being dark and almost life stealing. The cherry on top is that she so looks like she is going to be an aggressive DPS support taking off angles, like how Moira is normally.

I'm not a Mercy player but damn that skin is perfect happy for the Mercy mains. meanwhile one of my omnic boys gets an alright skin Not quite what I wanted but that Null Sector Zen skin makes me like to imagine he becomes the leader of Null Sector in the Mirror Universe and Ramattra becomes a wandering monk like Zen does in the normal timeline maybe he gets his upgrades (Nemesis Form) because he feels like he has to protect the unity between Man and Omnic. Would make sense for Ramattra to just use his monk legendary he already has. Heck some of his voice lines would sound like wise teachings if the tone was calm and not aggressive like "Now do you see your error?" or "Careless. do better"

It’s a lot better than I expected but there’s a few things that are kinda sad * only two hair options for some reason instead of 3 like mythic customization usually has? One more hair would make this feel truly customizable * I’d love if her eyes had a subtle glow But overall it’s a nice skin even if it’s not what I wanted for her mythic!

I think she has overall 4 different customizations: Hair Style, Mask, Staff, and Color! I assume it's like... 2 hair, 3 mask, 2 staff, and 3 color from what we see in the trailer but I'm not sure how that compares to other Mythics off the top of my head

@@Skiesti From what I've seen usually Mythics have 3 options for each customization row that isn't the weapon, and 2 weapon options Moira had 3 masks, Kiriko had 3 hairstyles and 3 headpieces, Sigma had 3 helms and 3 armors, Ana had 3 bodies, Tracer 3 helms and 3 armors, Genji 3 masks and 3 tattoos, etc. so I'm just sad Mercy has 2 hairstyles instead of 3 😪 One more hairstyle option would make the skin perfect in my opinion. Who knows tho maybe they'll add another hair option later down the line in like 3 years lol

Ok so I am sad that I’m definitely retiring my Lifeguard Mercy skin for this, but IM SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was a little weary at first because I didn’t really like the mask, but everything else was fine either way for me. Let me tell you, when I saw everything, I was hopping around. Blue is my favorite color and I think that made its color scheme so good, I like that there are multiple customization options, not just two weapons and four lousy color schemes. I will definitely have to play around with everything, but I think I’ll go with blue color scheme, one of the visors (the mask isn’t exactly my thing), probably her hair up, unless down looks good in brown, and whatever weapon I think looks best. I’m excited to see the valk wings in multiple colors and see how they changed blue beam, yellow beam, and rez similar to Moira’s abilities. This pass looks like such a good one and I’m so glad I saved my coins to buy this one and not season 9’s. I already have Widow’s beach skin (not going to attempt to spell it), but I will definitely use both, the Doom skin looks so cool and I think it would be a missed opportunity to call it Hopefist or Prosperityfoot (thank you commenters on trailer video), Sombra skin I’m not too crazy about, but I’ll still use it. I don’t know what all skins are in the pass, but it looks mostly like good ones (the Rein, Ana, Soj, Tracer, and maybe one other, there are obviously more, but I can’t remember them all, look like shop skins).
