The thing with the being banned for cursing and not having a following like durpee to get my account back straight up happened like the same week the whole drama with him getting banned happened. Still don't have my main account back, just got bot responses back when I tried to appeal it, and my account will probably stay banned forever. Feels bad and wrong

Hate to be that Mercy main, but "GA is a 1.5 second cooldown (Note 1)" 1: starting from when GA is elapsed (Note 2) which can be at most a 1.5 second duration, so you are able to activate GA every 1.5 to 3.0 seconds. 2: unless using slingshot or superjump in which case the cooldown has a additional 1.0 second duration from the end of the GA duration. So with movement tech, you are able to GA every 2.5 to 4.0 seconds. So that people stop saying Mercy is broken for being able to dash around every 1.5 seconds and that we complain even though they supposedly reverted her cooldown to OW1.

If you look at the attack spawn point for Dorado, there is a capsule in the middle of the field that belongs to space ranger, and it matches the teaser.

1:11 i feel like both you and the guy who made this quiz are wrong, cause the question was "who was the 4th new hero added AFTER overwatch 2's release" but sojourn, jqueen, and kiriko were added ON or BEFORE the release, so ram is actually the first one after release, then lifeweaver, then illari, then mauga, making mauga the 4th one that was added after release. still got it right either way though lol. missed opportunity for the creator of the quiz tbh, this couldve been a good trick question

The report system is broken and should be removed entirely (for abusive chat at least). They have a filter, blocking system, avoid system, and a mute system. If you still somehow think this isn't enough for you, then you shouldn't be interacting with other people (aka turn off your chat). All this report system does is kill all aspects of socializing on the off chance someone says something stupid (which you can just ignore/mute like any other functioning adult).

Not to mention that 5v5 feels closer to team deathmatch. So they are closer to a cod lobby but don't want to hear the chats that are in cod lobbies

Its not the report system that is broken its the punishments given. For VC and Text Chat violations, the account should simply be muted for a certain amount of time or permanently if its a repeated offender. No reason to ban someone for something they type when simply disabling their comms would do the trick. The other thing is that a LOT of the "chat bans" you see are false and made up. Yes people have gotten banned for things they've said but it tends to be closer to consistent bullying and harassing and not just typing a curse word. I've typed my fair share of curse words and talked trash and have yet to see any form of punishment in my 8+ years of OW. Its more that some people will go out of their way to harass someone and blizzard takes that much more seriously and why some legit bans (even though I think it should be a mute instead) have had proofs that seem lame and underwhelming. I still think that it should be a mute instead of a ban tho...

@Im_Half_Asleep I have been banned for specifically 'abusive chat'. I have played the game since like season 15 of ow1. I do not harass people but I will defend myself. I have never even been warned about being reported until the report system was exposed in ow2. I never even touch areas like race or political topics because I know what the average ow player is likely to be even though racial epithets were espoused against me. I reported that person and of course got no response about action being taken. Please tell me again the system is fine. People report whoever they don't like, even if they start the shit to begin with. People literally message me outside the game instead of in game to avoid the punishments for it. Not to mention that cursing shouldn't be bannable in the first place if they have an entire filter designed to stop it. The kids aren't alright

@@Im_Half_Asleep I still think that the ambiguous nature of what is and isn't ban-able causes the majority of people to just avoid socializing. They can't just say "toxic behavior" and expect everyone to have the same definition of toxicity (and even if they define it, what if it's a simple difference in opinion that causes someone to get banned?). As long as it isn't anything illegal, it should be allowed. If you disagree with them, you can call 'em stupid, educate them, mute them, any number of different options. I just think that the censorship of opinions is a slippery slope (mainly cause it radicalizes people who normally wouldn't be radical) and that it's better to outright avoid people on an individual basis.

@@metal100k No and honestly none of this should be bannable. Idk why they ban rather than just mute people. And I can only speak from my experience but I've had my fair share of toxic moments and have been 'mean' beyond what others say theyve been banned for and I haven't been touched yet. Maybe I'm just lucky but I have gotten messages back of action being taken against people I reported and I typically only report when people try and bypass the filter or straight up harass others. I'm sorry if youve been banned for something stupid like a curse word but sadly that's just blizzard I guess and there's a lot of things they do that I disagree with.
