zarya is such a pain to play and play against, since if you play her either people stop shooting you giving you no charge, or they just melt through you so it doesnt matter, but when you face her she is unkillable and always has around 70% charge

The latter is just a given for all the time, the former is just annoying since I don't play her all the time and that just reinforces not playing her since it's not fun

Emongg talking about Venom Mine placement made me think of a cool custom game mode idea: *Find the Venom Mine.* The concept is simple; someone on Widowmaker places a Venom Mine somewhere on the map secretly, then a team of enemy players have to find and destroy it, and the first one to do so wins.

It seems like Blizzard kind of likes the idea of balancing that way, just look at Zen with his kick! Passives would be such a great way to buff or nerf certaik heroes and you could always change passives completely, because its not part of the main kit.

Was playing Overwatch yesterday and I had a Lifeweaver pull me into the view of the enemy Widow after I’d successfully got behind cover because he thought I was too far ahead. (Too far ahead being 10 metres away due to the gap where the widow was easily sniping me before so I wanted to get behind cover before doing anything else). Dude literally killed me (I’d managed to duck and weave my way through her shots feeling like a sick mofo and he just went ‘nah you’re not playing the way I want you to’). Worst part is that it was right next to the point and we could have maybe gained some ticks while our tank was 1v1ing their tank (it was a scuffed game). I’m still salty about that.

Instead of maps being voted for, it would be better to be able to vote on a veto. So if you have 3 options, you all get to vote on which map you don't want to do. It can show blizzard which maps people avoid at all costs and it also won't let us choose the same handful over and over. There will still be a bit of randomness to it

On the last TikTok, I'm a pharah one trick and the only heroes I have to actually play around are soldier, torb, and sometimes mcree. They're the only ones where a dive won't guarantee kill them without taking loads of damage. Biggest thing I learned was how to hide on roofs and get really close without being seen. Learning those hard restricts counters as you can los widow, Ashe, Ana, and even bastion easily and effectively.

Lifeweaver can throw this ability to temporarily create a tether with an ally. For 3 seconds (or smth) that ally can press [interact] to be flung towards Lifeweaver.

I think vote map can be done by mode. Let's say next lobby was going to be a Oasis game. Instead, make a voting with, say Illios and Busan and let the players pick between the 3. This makes sure that every mode is played but gives the players some agency on what specific map.

@@mrblooper1994 every mode aside from push has a decent amount of maps so that you can mix them together and have different combinations. Worse case scenario, make it 2 option instead of 3 and put the least popular maps together from time to time so they get some play time.

Give Hammond 50hp and have him run around and do nothing, maybe if he stands still he can channel some ability to increase ult charge and get back in his ball. That way he's easy to kill even with a small hit box and to get back in his ball he has to get to safety first which would usually not happen.

12:59, here’s my opinion on this situation as a GM, blizzard has 2 options but tbh none are good. 1, rework the character, this ability is unhealthy for most ranks and should be removed if no other way is found, 2, add a cancel, like he said, but this option is honestly horrible, because it adds even more trolling capabilities, blizzard put themselves in this horrible situation by adding this character, and they need to fix it, somehow

Zarya in low elo is a problem bc it is impossible to kill Zarya at the start of any fight. If the enemy team has all abilities up, no matter how much damage you make, Zarya will escape fully charged. Knowing this, Zarya can walk in front, and ppl in low elo doesn't know how to ignore that and start shooting and the whole thing snowballs.

Saying doom is good against Queen is wild to me because I find Queen to be very good against doom. The knife disrupts his movement, shout is a good way to Peel for your team-mates when he goes in and he has no real way of punishing you for going at his backline. The tanks that are the worst for Queen are ones that punish her for going agressive while being too tanky for Queen to pressure herself like orisa, rein and especially sigma who just has an insta delete button on a 10 second cool-down

8:10 this could work BUT I don’t think it should be guaranteed. I feel it should be something like people vote on the maps and then the game looks at the percentages of each maps votes. Obviously the one with the higher amount of votes has the bigger percentage. Then it randomly selects a map from the voted pool but maps with more votes have a higher probability of being played. This means that the less voted maps have a chance of being played rather than being stumped by 5 stacks and such TLDR: have the vote but make the votes percentages and then randomly select a map, the higher percent the more chance to play on that map but still chance to play on less voted map

There could also be a mechanic where every day a random map gets a percentage boost so it innately has a higher chance of being picked; just for the extra RNG Doing all of these things let’s players have an influence on what maps are played but not a guarantee

last guy needs to realize he's facing his own 'skill issue'. If a pharah is taking out your team it's not all the fault of the one reaper DPS- if he's getting picks. Bap and Ana can pressure her out, Dva can defang her. Ignoring pharah and just winning the fight is a valid strategy. Let pharah come down and contest point when the rest of her team is gone.

I had a hero idea whose ultimate was essentially friendly fire. Makes all enemies see their teammates as enemies and take damage from allied attacks for roughly 5 seconds. Could be funny as a counterplay for that Rein solo shattering a flanker in the middle of the enemy team if you get that timing right
