Regarding EZCOOLDOWN vests, they don't use ice as ice is way too cold for near-skin use and doesn't last long - they use a material that freezes at a higher temperature and soaks up a lot more energy before melting :)

Honestly it's odd that there's not a larger amount of Cat Fursuits. I honestly thought that I was unoriginal when I created my fursona Gummy since she was just a purple tabby cat, it was quite surprising to realize that there's barely any normal cat fursuits, instead there's lions and tigers. kinda confusing especially since a lot of original species have personalities that replicate cats.

I had that moment too! Though now that I'm trying to make a fursuit, I've realized domestic cat heads are kind of weird? Compared to big cats, they have practically no snout, and their heads are pretty squat, so it's kind of difficult to find your proportions. And cats are stereotypically seen as more feminine, so ppl might be adverse to that?

Admittedly domesticated cats do have a odd shape, and yeah, I suppose that Cats do have a slightly feminine feel to them, there's still quite a few female fursuiters in the fandom (Pocari, Telephone, Rika, Dew, ETC)so I don't feel as if it being feminine would necessary adverse them, especially due to how many people in the fandom have cats (As told by the many fursuit makers with cat-hair warnings on their websites)

*DIY COOLING SUIT:* If you put any jell or liquid soap/shampoo (with salt mixed in) into a Ziplock bag and then seal the end using an iron or hot knife, put it into a freezer for about an hour+ or untill it's cold enough for you, then just ductape as many as you want to the inside a hoodie or thin jacket or the outside of a thicker shirt in the areas needed and you'll be done, hoodie works best if you want it to have head cooling too Or if you have enough plastic or two bin bags (one in the other for strength) procede with the previous steps, then spiral it around the inside your suit and attach it(but make sure it's easily removable for furture use) and then just wear it (You might want to make 2 and then hot glue or use strong aheasive to add shoulder and waist bands to hold it on you)

Battitude is incredible. One of my great friends is getting a suit from them!~ Theyre extremely affordable and I wouls love to commision them. But I haven't seen them make many deer, avian feet or wings. If any of you know any may you please link them to me? :) Ideally, im saving up for a nice realistic suit from Fursonalities. EZ cooldown vests are generally better than straight-up ice packs because EZ cooldown is simply "cool", not "cold." They usually only get to around... 50 or 60 degree fahrenheit, and aren't actually below freezing. This is preferable because it is not healthy for your body to be in various states of temperature. If some of your body is really hot (i.e. head, arms, legs) and your torso is really cold (from an ice vest), you can get REALLY sick. I've heard stories of vomiting, shock, seizures, and other terrible things, because they try to combine extreme heat and extreme cold. It's the same reason why it's better to drink lukewarm water in suit than ice water.

Howdy! I absolutely love playing Overwatch and have since October of 2016. I'm just now getting into the furry fandom, and your KZbin channel is nurturing my growing love for this fandom. i just got the cool down vest at AC this year i got the 70F it does well with a cooler full of ice its good to go in 15 -20 min also if your room is below the temp they will be good to go as well they last 2-3 hours but then they retain heat so you have to get out of suit because it does the opposite but its just the right amount of time anyways it was amazing you still need a fan in your head of course.

I have a convention that I suggest you go to. It's called Aicon. It's an anime, furry and pop culture convention! I have been to it twice and it's a 2 day convention that happens every year in Tasmania. I have seen some amazing fur-suits at Aicon and it's a great convention! P.s. That sounds super unique and awesome. As long as your happy with it that's what matters. making your fursona unique only for the sake of being unique won't make you any more happy or attached to it unless, you add markings that you find relatable. So maybe look at fictional characters you find relatable if there hair is curly maybe make your fursonas hair curly, something like that. From your description it already sounds very unique. Just make sure not to add something you don't like.

If no matter what you do with the design doesn't work I'd say give them a unique outfit, a unique name, or a unique story, that way maybe your character will be more unique but in a unique way. :D

Don't forget that if nothing ever works when making a fursona ask yourself why you don't like them so you can fix whatever the problem is, I had to make like 30 fursonas and only kept a few.Remember that making a fursona is hard and it's not just you, keep trying until you love it. It'll never be perfect but if it makes you happy you succeeded.

Hey pocari!, I have experience with these cooling vest. They are very very good. They last about 2-3 hours depending on what your doing. I work outside and i wear it under my uniform and it keeps he very cool. However the pockets that the icepack sits in can be puncture not to easy but still...i do wana test it with my fursuit when i get it :D, also the ices paks that it come with can be upgraded to a bigger one dor longer vesting XD
