So uh- I know no one is going to see this but I have some pretty good news (at least for me)! I am a young fur, so it’s not easy for me to get any furry things, such as badges, shirts, pins, and stuff like that. I got my first badges recently! I really love my fursona, I feel so close to him. The badges are really awesome, and I just wanted to share this with some other furs. I know that times are getting rough, so I wanted to share this with people to make them happy :D P.S. For the fursuits and natural disasters question, I haven't had or heard of anyone's experiences but I assume that its possible to recover a suit from flooding damages depending on its construction and the amount of the time its been underwater/type of water. Foam ones might be hopeless to save but 3d printed heads could be fixable with refurring.

The EKG monitor in the actual fursuit would be very helpful for handlers, and the general public. It could tell others at a glance how you are doing medically or stresswise, which would be impossible to read on your covered face, so that your handler can get you out of a stressful situation or any random person could get you medical attention if needed.

I really like the idea of interchangeable parts because my fursona Charter is actually a shape shifter and goes between his original form(cat with long ears and realllly long tail), a bunny, a canine, and some times even a fluffy dragon of sorts. I was planning on making his fursuit maybe a year or two from now, and these types of ideas are really helping me. I had already thought of interchangeable tails and claws to replace the paws when a dragon, but the ears one should be cool! I could also make magnetic horns and maybe tiny chibi wings with really string magnets... though those would be heavy... I’ll figure it all out soon, but this idea was great! Thanks to who ever brought up the idea of 2 in 1 fursuits! Edit: Thank you 5KB!!

The implications of a being flying through soundwaves are frightening. Anyone within the radius of a few wiles would instantly die as 200 decibels is enough to kill someone though nowhere near enough to propel something as large as a ampwave

Regarding closed species, I'm 100% with you on not breaking the rules out of respect for the artist _except_ in circumstances where the artist themselves is outright breaking the law in regards to how they're enforcing their rules. For example, putting together a list of people's private and contact info (essentially a dox list) for "enforcement" purposes.

At least in Europe meanwhile you could make name of a species trademark, you can not copyright concept or idea of a species. Copyright law can protect a specific design, but nothing prevents you making a character of that species with different color and pattern design. But then again, a lot of closed species have their own community. They can make whatever rules they want they don't need to accept you into the community, if you break some of their rules for example.

I understand that a closed species means that no one can use it with the exception sometimes being friends and family. But how do open species work? How do I get a fursuit of an open species? And is it disrespectful to the creator of an original open species if I made a hybrid out of said species? Sorry if this sounds dumb, I'm new to the Fandom.

Some closed species look amazing and others are legit boring. The only problem I have with a few CS's is that if you make smth similar bc you can't afford one or it's just a couincidance, some owners get really angry and force the people to either pay them or get rid of it. People can make and do whatever they want and as long as everyone is respecting each other everything should be fine
