To pocari: do you think maybe you could make a series about underrated species in the furry fandom? I always see the same species over and over again when I want to make my fursona, but none of them are like my cup of tea. And since there are so many other species out there, it'd be cool if you gave them an outlet for more people to know about them. Like a weekly upload talking about a certain species in detail and call the series "species spotlight". I think that would be really cool. Sincerely, a young floof in the fandom

For the fursuits and natural disasters question, I haven't had or heard of anyone's experiences but I assume that its possible to recover a suit from flooding damages depending on its construction and the amount of the time its been underwater/type of water. Foam ones might be hopeless to save but 3d printed heads could be fixable with refurring.

I am a young fur, so it’s not easy for me to get any furry things, such as badges, shirts, pins, and stuff like that. I got my first badges recently! I really love my fursona, I feel so close to him. The EKG monitor in the actual fursuit would be very helpful for handlers, and the general public. It could tell others at a glance how you are doing medically or stresswise, which would be impossible to read on your covered face, so that your handler can get you out of a stressful situation or any random person could get you medical attention if needed.

I saw amp waves months ago I wanna make an original species but none of the species seem to have gills and I want to add gills to the species Either gills or a beak. I like birds, I like pond thingies. I wanna make a thing that’s cute. Something that isn’t edgy but could be edgy. What thingy do I make? Do I add gills, or a beak? Do I add a long muzzle, or large feet, or claws? Do I even give it teeth? Big ears, small ears, do I give it wings? Clear wings? A sort of clear fin on its legs/torso? Do I add resin to it? Do I add a big or small nose? Would I add ears with the gills? Would I add only the gills? Only the ears? Do they have scales or fur? Or both? Or none? Where does it come from? Is it from a pond? An ocean? A saltwater pond? A freshwater pond? A brackish pond!?! Do they live in groups? What is their lifespan? Can they fly? Can they swim? How do they swim? Can they swim fast or slow? I really like the idea of interchangeable parts because my fursona Charter is actually a shape shifter and goes between his original form(cat with long ears and realllly long tail), a bunny, a canine, and some times even a fluffy dragon of sorts. I was planning on making his fursuit maybe a year or two from now, and these types of ideas are really helping me. I had already thought of interchangeable tails and claws to replace the paws when a dragon, but the ears one should be cool! I could also make magnetic horns and maybe tiny chibi wings with really string magnets... though those would be heavy... I’ll figure it all out soon, but this idea was great! Thanks to who ever brought up the idea of 2 in 1 fursuits! Edit: Thank you 5KB!!

At least in Europe meanwhile you could make name of a species trademark, you can not copyright concept or idea of a species. Copyright law can protect a specific design, but nothing prevents you making a character of that species with different color and pattern design. But then again, a lot of closed species have their own community. They can make whatever rules they want they don't need to accept you into the community, if you break some of their rules for example.

I have a question on fursuit makers. As a young fur myself who do you think would be a good fursuit maker? I'm thinking of maybe a Kit's Cove fursuit which is about 1k USD for a partial (head, sleeves, feet and hand paws, and tail).
