I just did that last night, u set up my turret on the bridge near the payload doors and had a bastion watching my back and hanzo as well as the rest of the team attacked down below and the other side as I constantly through out health, we won there after a long hard fight, my turret helped in its spot because it could see vital areas but to shoot it then had to expose themselves to hanzo or bastion, which both kept getting shield packs from me

I think it's best if you hold the corner for a short as the enemy has to be on the payload to move it. Once they get the payload decently close to the corner or you lose a couple team mates re-group at the gas station. I do agree that trying to fight on the wrecked trains(?) is generally a waste of time though. Unless you're completely demolishing the team on offense that is.

Awesome visual guide! I've played a bit of CSGO and i was researching Map-Callouts so i could help my team mates and up my own game. I would like to see some big Overwatch names, such as yourself, defining Map-Callouts for each map. This would significantly help most players looking for an extra edge within the game. One solid birds eye view of a map with highlighted locations would be awesome. All we need is 1 version of each map, with clear callouts so there is no confusion. To the point i could play with any PuG group and anyone who has seen these images, can just understand what each other is saying without any complications.

This videos are sooooo good. I don't know if you've done them already, but I'd love to see Liajing Tower, because I notice that everytime I play I stick to the same exact routes and most of the team does and we get shot down in one blow. I think you would probably have some interesting tricks or something for it. Keep doing this videos, they're great, and you do a wonderful job giving ideas and explaining things. I really do love the content you produce.

The part where it sounded that someone joined your game reminded me when i was in a custom map by myself in kings row just to familiarize Sniping spots for widowmaker when suddenly there was an AI reaper in the custom game and he was walking around . It was really creepy since i entered the game without AI enabled. And added that Kings row is a pretty dark map makes it more creepier

The upper floor of the bar is great for sticking a symetra teleporter and turrets. From there you can defend that location and fire out with your right click or left if the payload is close.

a sneaky thing to do as junkrat is stand on the top train cart. it gives you more cover then you may think and nobody expects it. if they push forward at all you can retreat with your mine.

Nice video! Love the series! ;) I have a suggestion regarding spectator mode, you can always switch it to skirmish so the play time is 30minutes and you can take your time recording the whole video without it ending abruptly.

At the spawn, you can attack by the left behind a Reinhart barrier, you have a wide line of sight on the road and easilly take down defense

Everytime I watch these map guides, I feel like I'm a little kid again watching Legends of the Hidden Temple. "You can go this route, drop down the tunnel, and grab the large health pack. Or take this path and potentially get behind the enemy." The choice is yours, and yours alone. Good luck.

All the buildings are very nice spots to set up Symmetra ganking locations. Putting a bunch of laser turrets next to the large health packs is a great way to get free kills on squishy DPS characters that panic run to the health pack locations and the perceived safety of inside buildings, where Symmetra is strongest.

I´ve heard from the McCree nerf and the D.V.A buff I think both are necessary....BUT we definitely need a Zenyatta buff and a Widowmaker nerf. What are you guys thinking of a short dash for Zenyatta , something like Imperator Palpatine got in Battlefront, (if you know what i mean) on a 5 sec. cooldown or something like that. And for Widowmake i think it would be a good choise to accually give her a Bolt Action Sniper instead of a semi Auto one, because if you charge your first shot and deal a bodyshot, its way to easy to just finish him off with a seccond none charged bodyshot, which is to strong in my opinion. If someone read that all thank you and sorry for my bad english :P

Zenyatta is pretty powerful already dude. he is capably of doing minor healing and pretty massive damage. he is meant for the back lines as a support. A dash would imply he is a front line character.

I think that they should give zenyatta 175 health. I like the widowmaker semi auto idea.

I know Zenyatta is strong and i love to play him, but due the combination of the really low Healthpool and no Movement abilities makes him very fragile. Btw. i dont think a pure movement dash would make him a front line character, just imagin Tracer with only one Blink every 5 seconds....you will still have to play him as before, you just have a little more survivability.

in the loading screen for this map you see the bilboard for "Welcome to Deadlock Gorge "GO AWAY" " and next to it there is a sign for route 66 but in game there is a sign for 35 mph

As the game goes on it's becoming increasingly clear that defense on any map has a HUGE advantage. Guess that's another thing to throw on the mountainous pile of things they need to fix and balance. It's quickly becoming less fun as each day passes.

to attack in hanamura against bastion, use genji or hanzo, besides hanamura is genji's amd hanzo's map.

D.va and winston also, D.va's ult is great for both points on hanamura and you can shift in with defence matrix up. Generally I've found Hanamura needs two tanks to have a successful push.

I wouldn't worry about giving away your class. Just switch to a giant tank like Roadhog or Reinhardt, get their attention, and then flank them with Reaper afterwards when the game actually starts. Works every time for me. XD

If you really don't wanna give away your hero before the gates open when you're attacking, just use another one for peeking and switch in the end of setup time. Just do inform your team that "I'm gonna change to _add hero here_ when gates open" , so the others won't make roster choices according to your fake hero.

Well, it's not as if they can really change while they are defending at the spawn camp, since their spawn camp is really far away.

bearate But it will affect their gameplay style, for example if they see you as a Widowmaker inside the spawn, everyone will hang more behind covers and it is more difficult for you to find angles for taking a shot. By not revealing yourself you might get an unaware enemy picked.

That happens to me all the time, I get the wild west part of Hollywood and that part of Route 66 mixed up and mashed together in my head, and that spawn is like right where the jail and the health would be on Hollywood.

Hey Stylosa, not many people are going to see this comment, but could you mention this point in future videos? Not many people know that when you are defending against a payload, that you can stand near the payload to stop the other team from pushing it. It drives me crazy when a perfectly capable player doesn't buy their team time to come back.

Can you do a video on the differences between PC and console? Seems like Blizzard need to sort out the balance of the heroes differently across different platforms. Torbjorn, Reaper, two or more Bastions, Mcree, and Hanzo are overpowered as hell, Tracer is viciously outmatched by literally anyone save for a one on one with a mercy or reinhardt (she couldn't beat the two together though), on PC I hear that widowmaker is really overpowered because mouse and keyboard makes accuracy easier,. Nerfing Widow across all platforms will render her useless on console but fair on PC. Mcree is a problem everywhere and the fact that having a full man team of 76 or more than two bastions or just one torbjorn assures sucess.

Lucio is overpowered on this map. Just wall jump on the rock walls. You can do this infinitely because they're counted as a bunch of cylinders. Lucio's movement is ridiculous on Route 66.

You just have to create a custom game and put yourself in the spectator slot. Then set the game to a skirmish so you will have 30 minutes to move around.
