These are pretty much all of the interactions in Storm Rising. There's a couple of generic voice lines I didn't include as I felt they wouldn't add anything of value to the video, e.g. "Push the payload" "Open the door"

Things to note: - Tracer seems to be very fond of drinking. - Winston is very shy about his first mission outside the lab. It's pretty adorable. - Mercy's mom meter is up sky high. - Genji opened up pretty quickly since the Rialto incident. - Mercy and Genji totally have a thing going on. - Sojourn is very likable and left a very good first impression on her first major role. - There's a possible chance that the next Archives event might take place in Egypt. - I feel like Doomfist purposely wanted Maximillien to get caught, so that Overwatch themselves could go after him. Doomfist probably has something waiting for them if they find him. - We still have absolutely no idea why Overwatch let go of Reinhardt.

If the Egypt Mission is to be next in the timeline, and if that's where Ana is going to be 'Killed', wasn't that the catalyst for Reinhardt to be early retired? I think it is more a line due to Torbjorn getting injured and Reinhardt saving his life. Since those two are as thick as thieves, sort of, Reinhardt being in the dumps at Torb's sickbed...makes perhaps more sense. Blizzard, more archives open please!

The difference is everyone on the Strike Team seems to like each other and are very competent with lots of missions under their belts. Catching Max is just another day at the office for them. Compare this to Uprising was London was under the control of terrorisms and Tracer had no experience in the field (and Torb didn't really like her either). And then Retribution was just a mess with an execution, exposing Blackwatch in the middle of Venice and culminating in a difficult evacuation. And I don't think everyone always got along on the team. Compared the the previous missions Storm Rising is just a good and easy time for all those involved!

There's a storm is coming alright... a storm of shippers! Batten down the hatches and prepare for the worst! But in all seriousness I love those interactions. I'm no shipper but it makes me very happy to hear Genji's dialogue. He enjoys the Strike Team's company more than his former Blackwatch teammates. You can tell that they all get along and are good friends. It's amazing what nice company will do for you! I especially love how gracious Genji is to Mercy. He just seems so much more at peace in this event vs how tortured he felt in Retribution. He's clearly much closer to the harmonious personality we originally saw in the Dragons short and that's the short that made me love Genji as a character in the first place so I couldn't be happier. :-)

@@giraffeman326 Someone who likes to pair fictional characters in romantic relationships. In the context of Overwatch, a lot of people want Mercy and Genji to be a couple. Those people are shippers. A ship is short for a "relationship". So the term "Gency" is a fan coined couple name for Genji and Mercy. "Gency" is a ship. Shippers exist in most fandoms of fictional media be they books, movies, TV shows, or video games. There are varying degrees of shippers too. Some actually look at the canon in movies and ship characters that have an attraction to each other or are actually dating. Other shippers don't care at all about what is real and then ship any characters with each other regardless of gender, species, or if these characters have even met each other. On of these wild ships might be something like shipping Genji and Zenyatta. And some shippers are only doing this for fun. They are chill and respects everyone's opinions. Others are just doing it as a joke, they really don't care about relationships. Other shippers, however, are militant and get very angry if anyone disagrees with them. They will get mad at the creators for not delivering their fantasies and frankly care more about their ship then the actual story or game. Some people go as far as not to care about the original media at all. The only care about the media because they want to ship people. The most dangerous kind of shipper is the one who is both militant and loves making crazy, fictional ships. This is the kind of person who will sincerely ship characters like Tracer and Winton and become mad if the creators don't make their ship canon. I know this is a lengthy description but I hope I explained everything clearly. :-)

Isn't it strange that Genji is characterized as more talkative and friendly, when only a year ago he was brooding and quiet in Retribution? That's the one thing that bugs me about these new interactions- perhaps Team 4 wanted to make this one a lot more light-hearted than last years mission or something? Not only was she young when she got her cybernetics but her body was literally attacking her own organs. In the end if she didn’t get her cybernetics she would have probably died. It’s kind of odd that most of the fandom sees her getting cybernetics as a choice because at least the way that I see it she honestly didn’t really have one.

We discovered that Tracer is dating Emily in the "present" of the game but since she mentions her in this event, which took place 6 years before the "present", it means it's been a while they're together, which is great because I think their relationship is adorable, even if we know almost nothing about it !
